hey why is it that not alot of girls smoke? out of all the poeple i know smoke only three or four of them are girls. how many poeple here are girls anyway?

i ask this because (to me at least) the older the age group the more chix smoke, i belive this because i go to high school and not as many girls smoke there but one of my parents smokes and with my parents friends there is about as much guys as there is girls who smoke.
i wonder why this is

I'm guessing you're a teenager? Social issues usually dictate that males are the vast majority during that stage. When you get out of high school, things will change.

when i 1st started to toke, i had no female tokers with us. But the 1st time i smoked was with a girl(very good friend) and her boyfriend. And the 1st time i got weed was from a girl. I mostly meet girls that smoke on the beach when i go there. Dont worry dude before you know you will be asking to smoke with guys....not . But as you grow older the more girls you will meet, just dont grab them most of them dont like that.

I know a lot of women who smoke. In fact, one of the best ways to meet women is go to a hookah show and when an attractive lady is grooving next to you, pack a bowl and "don't hit it, pass it to her," in the immortal words of Timmybong.

Well I'm a girl who smokes. I'm in high school now so as you guys were saying before, that at this point not many girls do smoke...but I do. I think the reason is that most girls may be leary of trying it b/c of it's association with the stereotypical "stoner" image so to speak, so then they decide not to do it. I'm by no means your stereotypical stoner, I do just fine balancing my stuff. I have only one of good friend that is a girl who smokes...and besides us, our friends who are girls don't really do it. From my personal experience the girls I am friends with don't do it b/c of parental issues...so in college things might change. There is also other girls I know who I'm sort of friends with who don't due it because of the suposed "bad" image thing. Thats just what I've witnessed as being a girl so there you go.

I'm pretty sure LittleC has nailed this one. Its because most of the girls in highschool are worried about fitting in and wearing the right clothes. Its the whole preps and skaters thing. How many starting quarterbacks do you imagine laying back and firing up a bowl. How many "skater" types can you imagine sittin back firing up a bowl. The truth of the matter is, most of the girls in highschool would rather associate with the first gruop and not the second so smoking would be to "unpopular." Its just teenage girls wanting to be like everyone else and conform to everyone elses standards. Of course, I could be a complete madman and have my head up my ass.
