i have a question about the relative costs for moving to Amsterdam or a nearby area. what would be a good amount (monetary) to go over there with to move permanently. just curious if anyone has ever done this and im sure many of us here in the USA have thought of it on more than one occasion.

I think bigger things would be - a job, and a visa.

And I wouldn't venture moving into a new country without a nice fat $20k or so.

I mean, it'd be like starting all over again. I guess if I sold my truck and all my stuff I'd have enough but man - it was hard getting this stuff in the US let alone over there.

Rob a bank or an armored truck and then get the hell out of the country fast before anyone knows who did it. You should have enough money to get yourself started in amsterdam.

Don't rob homeless people....they don't have much money. It's a waste of time.

I'd presume that moving to Amsterdam would be a risky proposition, unless you have a lot of money. But i dont really know for sure because I've never moved there, I'm just rambling off random words.
