This is sort of long, but it's what happened the best way I can explain it.

I guess it all happened Easter night. I went out after Easter dinner to go smoke at my friend's house, while the rest of the family(except for my one junkie sister) stayed home. As my mom tells it, while my sister was looking for something in my closet, she stumbled upon my pipe and a container I used to store stems. My sister went ballistic and told my dad and eventually my mom. My mom already knew I smoked, and she is basically cool with it as long as I keep my grades up. My dad didn't know, though, and niether did my sister.

So I come home Monday absolutely stoned, and my dad stops me in the garage:
"Wassup pops?"
"Boy, you really f*cked up this time" (Oh ok... like I've ever really f*cked up before...)
"Huh? What are you talking about?" (At first, I thought he was referring to the fact that forgot to call home the night before. Why would he be this mad about that?)
"What am I talking about... Think about the worst thing you could've ever done..."
"What?" (I was still really stoned, but I had an idea of what he was getting at.)
"WHAT IS THE WORST THING YOU COULD'VE EVER DONE?!"
"Um... kill someone?" (Well, sh*t. I knew he knew about the pot, but f*ck if I'm going to say it's the worst thing I could've ever done. Gimme a f*ckin' break, pops.)
"No, but you're pretty damn close. Keep guessing." (Son of a b*tch! Just say it already.)
"I don't know then. (frustrated)What are you talking about"
"Dope, man. It's dope."

Oh my f*cking god... I couldn't believe he said the worst thing I could've ever done was "dope." He used to consume so many drugs when he was a kid - stuff much worse than the "dope" he was referring to. I just walked away. I wasn't going to apologize. What the f*ck did I have to apologize for? I just avoided him the rest of the day until my mom came home. She told me everything about what happened, but she refused to give me my pipe back. I still had a new sack in my pocket, so at least they didn't find any actual weed. That night, after work, I smoked just about all of my new sack with a friend. I hid the litttle nug I had left in a new spot.
I came home yesterday from work to find my dad searched my room and found that little bit of weed and a makeshift pipe. That was all I had until this Friday, so I was pissed. I went back to avoiding my dad. I thought he'd probably hit me or something, since I went back to smoking right after I was chewed out the night before. I was sitting in my room last night, watching TV, when he came in and threw some cotton gloves at me. I thought we were going to fight or something. He just wanted me to hold a chain while he worked on the car. I stood there for over an hour holding this chain, saying absolutely nothing. He never brought up the "dope." He actually tried to make small talk, and laughed at me for seeming so nervous. I haven't talked to him since but just thrty or so minutes ago, he reconnected my internet. I'm starting to think he doesn't mind, or realizes that he really can't stop me. I'm sure he smoked that marijuana that he took. My mom told me that they tried to light up those stems they found in my bowl. I'm really hoping this will just blow over, and I can resume my regular, uninterupted smoking habits.

If your friend is already dead, and being eaten by vultures, I think it's okay to feed some bits of your friend to one of the vultures, to teach him to do some tricks. But only if you're serious about adopting the vulture.

It sucks that you got caught, but really in the end its will probably accually turn in to be a good thing. I mean once your parents know you do it and that no matter what they do you that you will coutinue to do it. Then they will usally just except it, which is generally alot better than having to sneak around to smoke anyways.

Getting cought by parental figures isn't the end of the world in any way. Yes it sucks, the feeling of your parents losing some respect for you can hurt. However, they will eventually exept it and they will hopefuly realize that you aren't a bad person because of it.

Do everything you can to make your parents realize that you are still a great person even if you smoke.

i dunno pyschological....after u get caught and your parents know you smoke it kind of takes away some high i would think.



i like it better with parents not knowing its more of a rush

My parents just received my report card last week, and I have a little over a 3.7gpa. That is why my mom isn't pissed off, because she knows that I will do well in school. I'm thinking that my dad will eventually realize the some thing.

Damn Man, That sucks you got caught, but your parents seem totally cool. I now live out of my house but even now if my parents found out i smoked weed I would get an @ss beating for sure. Major bummer. When my parents first found seeds and stems of mine it was horrible, my mother flipped and my father was just really dissapointed. My mom found out i started again and is cooler with it, my dad just accepts that im still the same person, i just like to get high. And my mom starts to realize that too. keep on bongin!

my parents are pretty cool with it now. My mom just found my blow tube, febreeze, but she missed my one hitter, bag of weed, and other stoned tools. She just threw them away, no questions asked. Now everytime I go out, my dad always looks at me seriously and says "Go out and have fun, but don't be stupid about it." I think I know what having fun means, now I'm a lot smarter about smoking down. I won't even think of smoking in a car, unless its parked, and in someones driveway. I always keep my bud in my shoe just in case anything happens, because the cops will never find it where I hide it.

The cotton gloves part was what got to me. Just so damn visual, cotton gloves, parental authority, maybe he'll fight me, etc. Sorry to hear you're going through that.

Smoking pot sometimes helps you empathize with people, maybe your dad smoked your stash and now feels bad for how he treated you.
