About the possession of stolen goods, if you dont know it is stolen, how can you be quilty of any crime? And pawn shops must be hasseled a lot if that is true since they dont make you show proof of purchase (reciept) when they buy stuff from you.

| No one ever said the government was reasonable, let alone fair. It's illegal to posess stolen goods, reguardless of where you got them. If you can prove that you didn't know they were stolen, the cops are likely to drop the charges against you, but in this case.. I'm pretty sure it's obvious he's screwed.
