| I grew up in Sydney, Nova Scotia (Cape Breton Island) with a population of around 20,000. I now live in Halifax, Nova Scotia. It's a decent sized city of just under 400,000 people. A ton of history in this city, and a good place to party. The city has the most bars per capita in North America.. just an interesting bit of useless knowledge for you. as for the view on marijauna... it's pretty slack. I can smoke just about anywhere and people don't really care. The police have higher priorities then to bust some people with a couple of joints. I can walk down the street smokin a joint and the only comments I will get is stuff like "something smells good".. lol I don't really know what else to say... time to load the bong. it's saturday after all ![]() |

| I live in Jacksonville, FL, probably one of the most stoner-unfriendly places you can imagine. I quit smoking once I moved here, the cops here have ZERO tolerance for stoners, and will arrest anyone in a heartbeat for a mere joint, they will even scrounge in someone's car and pick up every little scrap of shake off the floor and hunt for seeds, and use it as evidence, even if it doesn't even amount to a 1/4 of a gram, they will definitely lock you up for as long as they can, if you've never been in trouble, you'll probably get probation, but will be incarcerated until friends/family bails you out, or by one of the surrounding bail-bondsmen, (if you have bad credit or below a certain income, you're sol). On the other hand if you've been in trouble before, you'll most likely be charged with a misdemeanor and up to a year in jail!! (for possession of up to 20 grams). I quit once I moved hear frankly out of fear! Not only is the law tough, but the cops are hard on it. Besides that though this is a beautiful city with lots of attractions and great beaches, plenty of great food, nice music scene, more recreational park land than any other city in the US, great colleges, hot weather but not oppressively so, lots of beautiful women, and an otherwise tolerable attitude about MJ by the general public (all they ask is to be discreet ) make Jacksonville an overall nice place to live! ![]() |

| Tucson is in southern AZ, like 100 mi. south of Phoenix, and 50-60 mi. north from the Mexican border. There's a pretty diverse demographic of people and lifestyles here, I guess it mainly depends which part of the city (nearing 1milllion). I live in the center of town, so there are a lot of college kids like myself and quite a few hippies (old and young) and bohemian-types. MJ is not a big deal if you live in the city or around downtown. But the further out of the city center you go, the more retirees, snowbirds, and yuppies you'll find, and MJ is less tolerated, but these people stay in the foothills. Overall the MJ scene is pretty laid back here though, and pretty easy to find...univ. of Arizona is a pretty liberal school, I'm sure maybe at least a quarter of professors even smoke here, and most of the students. And lots of kids come here from Cali which makes for some good buds around town. ![]()

| I live in PA as well, closer to state college. Cops love to bust people for pot. Especially at the university. Last summer they busted some poor college kid, using an undercover. Kid sold 2x to the cop on campus dorms, for a total of $85. Last i heard he was facing jail time. Shit like this goes on pretty regular here. They just rounded up like 40 "dangerous" pot dealers in the nearby town too. This is probably why weed is hard to come by, and even harder to get anything better than low mids. |
