I am 19, near Sydney and support total decriminalisation for the reason of tax and government/corporations meddling with the product and all that sort of junk, although I have been somewhat out of the loop for the last year or so, and this is my first visit and post in that time, so i am not really sure exactly what the difference between legalisation and decriminalisation is. Basically i just want to be able to grow it and smoke it in peace and live in a society where nobody wants to punish me for doing things to myself.

In regard to police attitude, I recently copped one of those official cannabis cautions and the cops that i had to deal with were so stupid!They told us all about the people they see who have been smoking for years are all messed up, and i told them all about people who have been drinking for years. Then, while they wasted an hour and a half on us (we had about half a gram and a bong), a drunk walked past, screamed abuse at them, and continued on his merry way, a few minutes later a bloke pulled up and complained about the said drunk, then later again a car pulled a burnout about 100 metres away from us. The cops ignore it all, and didnt have much to say in answer to my questions about priorities. Idiots
But this is an entire story in itself for another time and place.

I would like to see an end to the prohibition. But answer me this, how can just 1 state legalise the growth on marijuana (SA). I thought it was the Federal Government's job to determine laws like that?

Active/Not Active: Kinda in the middle... I'd be more than willing to be active, but wouldn't really know how to go about it.

POSITION: Worldwide poeple will smoke it legal or not. I am either way coz dealing is profitable under illegalisation. Besides in australia ur allowed to have up to 4 plants in some states for perso.

3. Not doing anything because I don't really know what can be done except for informing ppl about the TRUE facts of marijuana instead of all this bull**** we get told by the government and ****.
