I'm in college, just finished my freshman year a little more than a week ago. I got a 3.83 first semester, and 3.5 the second.

I haven't gotten my report card yet, but i know i did ****ty. I really hate school. I'm really smart according to all types of intelligence tests and such but i don't like applying myself. I can't pay attention to asshole teachers who don't know what they're doing. I can't stand school in any form, i don't know, i guess it's some mental thing. I probably got like a 2.8 or so. I hate school. School sucks. I enjoy learning and being educated, but most of the curriculum in high school seems pointless and not worth knowing so i don't care about it. I learn on my own.

these 2 people i chill with (they are brother & sister) that keep a 4.6 (honors and AP classes) and they blaze all the time. They are some of the most intelligent people i know.

I just find it funny that all my anti-marijuana, school-loving, ignorant friends hate it that I'm doing so well (1500 sat's, 1st in class, etc) because they expected me to go down the drain two years ago when I started smoking. They really try to make me feel bad about it too...I mean, they're still my friends and all, but they need to wake the hell up. I don't even think this stuff (grades, sat) is that impressive--it doesn't mean **** in the grand scheme of things.


I do try to spread the word though, that marijuana does not impede brain function/memory in any way. Many of the people I know who were once adamently against marijuana are now seeing the other side and are more educated about it. I take great pride in knowing that I may have furthered the cause just by changing the opinions of a couple people.

Fall semester - Smoked weed maybe twice...1 B, 2 C's, 1D

Spring semester - Smoked constantly, 3 A's 1 B.

I can't go as far as to attribute it mostly to the weed, but I certainly enjoyed spring more and the results were definitely better.

Well then:

I got 2 A's and 3 B's for my junior year at college. Not bad. I only smoked on the weekends simply for lack of time. And I'm an Art major so all my classes are art too, which in my opinion are harder than "regular" classes. Thats not to knock math and english and whatnot(ive taken honors english and calculus 4 in college too so I know...) and those who took them, but those classes are more learned and memorized knowledge applied where as art is a lot more subjective. In math you either get the answer right or wrong basically, but when whipping up a work of art you have to sit and think longer on what you are trying to say with it, why you are saying that, the impact it will have, form, function, etc etc etc. And you have to convince your professor that you can do all that well. Anyways, thats my justification for those f**king B's!
