Well tommorow i'm leaving for Europe. Were starting our trip from Norway and driving around most all of mainland Europe, no island visits. Were gonna be visiting Amsterdam, and hopefully ill be able to score some buds even though i'm only 15. People say I look "18" but still, I was wondering how much they card, and how much it would cost to buy 5 grams. I don't plan on smoking any, all I want to do is just buy 5 grams and eat it all, ive never ate that much and it would be really expensive to do on Maui. Do most coffee shops have workers that speak english? Any ones in specific? Does anybody know the best type to eat over their, I know they have alot of selection? If I could get answers to these questions before I leave tommorow, that would be sweet. Thanks, ninja-

I am going with my parents, that has its bad and good points. I don't plan on searching for a relationship while i'm their, maybe some souvineers (how do u spell that?). I would have been more appriciative if you could have answered some of my questions, but I won't complain its better than not posting at all. First of all, my opinion is that its really sad that you did research on how many posts I wrote today, and had to tell everyone. Why is that relivent? I wanted to know if there were specific shops that had people that spoke english. I assumed, that not all shops had people that spoke english, and now I realize I shouldn't have made that into 2 seperate questions, sorry. I didn't want to walk into a bunch of shops and keep finding out they don't speak english, I would rather know one that spoke my language, so I wouldn't need to do so much treking. I know there are advantages to going with my parents, like not needing to pay for my ticket, room, food, or pretty much anything other than souvineers. There are other advantages too, please don't assume that I don't realize that. Plus, my dad said he'd buy me a beer on the plane to help me sleep, gotta love that. But I will be going with them everywhere, and that decreases the chance that I can score some buds. They arn't exactly cannabis supporters, and would prolly try and keep me from getting some in europe if they could. Anyway, thanks for answering one of my questions.

Dude, the point of eating the 5 g's is to get bloody baked, but thanks for the warning, ill go slow, thats alot of weed. How is eating hash anyway? It doesn't sound that fun to me, nor tasty, id rather eat pure bud. Peace-

I found it pretty cool to see people involved with weed wearing lab coats. They were like vintners and just as respected.

Sensi seeds was also interesting and there free seed list and mag is an amazing souveneir - it full of color photos of there prize
(both of these are easy to find and just inside red light district)

Look for a big capital I for information. I found the people of Holland amazing; I was in a line for money exchange and the teller went through 5 languages ahead of me -- Dutch people almost all speak english - Not too mention often Spanish, Flemish,German, and French--Language has never been a prob on any visits.

If you want a cool place to hang and meet young people w/o the folks go to dam square --everyone just sits and smokes and drinks wine all day-

DO NOT BUY DRUGS ON THE STREET - if you do you will only be hurting yourself - marijuana is legal as are many other lighter drugs, people selling these items on the street are junkies - people will constantly approach you and say "trips" avoid them even with eye contact. If problems occur be vocal- police are aware that there are large numbers of tourists on drugs in the red light district and respond accordingly- this said dont rely on them sole-

the bulldog is a bit commercial but awesome for someone who wants to chill with a young crowd, smoke weed freely in the bar and get info from travellers- not as good as some of teh local spots but good for a time budget-

you are making a mistake by going out and buying just weed to eat- they have much better methods i discovered on my first trip- you know how people in North America make cakes and brownies from weed - well the dutch do it also but with cakes and pastries that would make you cry with joy, my mates and i were so stoned when we sat down in a cool caef with trance music on the edge of the canal by the train stn. we saw the most delicate beautiful cake imaginable, so stoned were we that we were not sure if it was a good thing or not that it was loaded with weed , we scarfed it and had a great night walking around. off our faces.

even if you are off your gourd make a mental mote how the dutch adress there drug problems, how pot affects there society ect.
One of teh biggest impressions it made on me was how well the weed has been integrated into society. Mention it casually with the folks "eg this isnt how weed is presented to me at home, why does it work here ?

All I can see is that your very well informed. I do plan to visit as many museums as I can get in, and ive been riding myself of american brainwashing since I droped out of public school. You gave me alot of useful information, and may very well make my trip alot more safe and fun. I highly appriciate all that you told me, and I think ill try and get some pasteries with weed in them than just eating the weed straight, makes sense to me. Maybe then.... it might just be possible to get my parents to buy some, and maybe even convince them to try it out, but who knows. Anyway, ill post here on how my trip goes when I get back, thanks again, ninja-

A few other things
- rent a bicycle if you have the nut , people are always on thier bikes here and not the souped up mountain bikes we ride old school 3 speeds ( i bought an old one when I got home for 5 bux and fixed er up to new)
-youth hostels are everywhere and usually have a bar or cafe- good for meeting fellow travellers
- the famous sex museum has a imposter close by - ask around so you dont waste a fiver on the fake one like me (i went to the museum of sex not the sex museum, not qite as good)
- dont bring back paraphenalia if you have smoked in it.make sure you are not breaking the law by bringing a clean pipe in underaged
- you will notice lack of security on your way into schipol airport , dont expect the same on the way back to your dep city expect heavy drug searches.
- Heineken tour should still be free or only a few bux , supposed to be wobbly and good - all you can drink for a .5 hour after, get baked and watch all the drunks.
If all else fails remember the words from the cover of the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy-
