Talking

I actually have friends in Portland and was there a few months back for two weeks. I absolutely love the place. Its beautiful first off... Dank ass nugs all day long, for hella cheap... and the people are kinda cool.

Drawbacks are THE WEATHER, always raining... the bums, always begging... and the coffee shops - always serving. Hehehe.

Weed is plentiful and super dank. I was paying $80 for quarters of nugs which is unheard of in Texas. $300 got a nice ounce of nugs. And $350 - 370 bought an ounce of the prettiest **** you've ever seen. It was great.

I dunno about schwag as I never smoked any. Hehehe.
Hope this helps a bit.

Living in Vancouver WA here, yes, when you get a hookup it is usually very good bud, but it is also hard to find (maybe im just stupid!). The best of the best weed here goes for about 10 bucks a gram.

Good luck on move

Default Lived in the area....

......for my whole 38 years of life.

I might be biased, but a great place. Nothing wrong with rain for me. I hate it to hot and sunny.

Mountains, ocean, desert, rivers are less than 2 hours away.

Portland is awesome. I've spent enough time there, now and then, to know I wouldn't mind settling down there. Lush green trees, flowers, grass... and WEED! Oh my.

The job situation isn't the best right now, but that's an on again off again problem with the state of oregon it seems.

On the negative side, if you are under 21 and prone to 'hanging out' downtown, expect the pd to hassle you - a lot. There have also been several very sad events in Portland that cast the local law enforcement in a very negative light. [I guess I won't go farther than that, most of them are still being investigated, and can easily be read about in the local papers].
