Man, this SUCKS!!!! For reasons I don't want to get into, I might have to leave California, the best state in the union, with the dankest nugs, to move to Illinois or Ohio. MAN....no more sunshine, beaches, and hot babes in bikinis for me. DAMN, why does this have to happen?!
I hope the weed over there is good, cuz I'd hate to give up my sweet, sweet Humbolt County California green for some midwest dank. AHHHHHHH, I will be in Hell.
I pray I don't have to leave, but I'll know in a couple of days.

Although i've never been to california, nor smoked the weed there, moving is always hard.

Ohio isnt that bad, btyouhave to know where to look. I live in a larger city, so there is a lot of ****ty ghetto weed....but we ar about an hour and a half form Canada, where good bud is waiting just across the border for decent american prices......if you knw where to go, they are waiting for us american suckers.......However, there is some REALLY good nugs here if you can get a hook up. I can get hydroponic Skunk#1 still damp from the original grower (I get it form a freidn who gets it fomr there.) Also, if you knw the right counties, a lot of farmers grow it because they live in the middle of bumblef*** nowhere and no one cares...some of them have good stuff...(Illinois Im ot sure of, but im sure Chi town has good bud....you just ae to find it.....good luck man.....nothing is gonna make up for the sun and beaches though

I'm wedged between Ohio and Illinois and I used to live out in Cali too....was there then spent a year in AZ (for a job) then came here and let me warn you that there will be INTENSE culture shock....it's like a time warp speeding back to the 80's *LOL* No offense to the born and bred midwesterners here.....but any Californian transplant will know just what I mean.....I get told time and time again that I stick out....like I'm not "from here" *L*
One good thing though....it is ALOT cheaper to live here.....ALOT!

I miss it out west though...I'm fortunate enough that I'm able to travel back out there about four times a years....helps me with the withdrawals *L*

I'm supposed to know for sure tomorrow night. I did live in Chicago for 2 years, which wasn't all that bad, but I thought the weed there was pretty schwagg; then again, maybe I just had bad dealers.
You're right, though....I really stood out like a sore thumb. People thought I was strange cuz I was so laid-back, and everyone else walked around stressed. I also don't look too midwestern (blonde hair, tan, surfer girl looking) so people think I'm a real flake. It's pretty hard to take someone seriously who says mo, rad, and like, ya know.
If I can get a good hook-up there, it should be cool, but I'm really gonna miss the beaches, the mountains, driving to Vegas for the weekend, partying in TJ.
I hope I don't have to move.

Speaking as an Ohioan, there is a huge difference between city life and country life here. My girlfriend is form NY, and she went through the culture shock too...(we are in college here in Ohio)....I grew up in the city and I love Cali and Ny when i visit. However, no matter where you are in Ohio you are always about 45 mins away from the middle of nowhere. However, some of those farmers grow the BEST bud, I know from experience........depends on your hook ups and where you look.......good luck, if you end up in Ohio, be sure to let us know.....we can get ya started nicely
