i know smoking people out is a very nice thing to do between friends can be nice but after awhile it gets really anoying

i mean when you spend 50 bucks on a sack of some dank ass nugs you dont just want pack bowl after bowl of it

One of my friends is the most generous person you've ever seen. he's smoked me up so many times. But personally I can go either way. some days i'll smoke my friends for free but most of the time my friends are good guys and chip in. Like say me and 3 buddies smoked up before watching a movie. They will all buy me a coke and popcorn or something, so its all good!

That's why you do two things -

1. Make sure you take turns packing bowls. It always starts out with my stash, then my friends take out their sacks and pack, going in a circle.

2. Have lightweight friends, and smoke efficiently. Usually I'm left smoking the most because they're all"Ooohhh, I'm toooo stoned, dude!".

I know what you mean, once in a while is ok but it can be sort of annoying when people just expect you to smoke them out and your not rich or anything and they just hang around for that reason or call you at all hours of the day to come over or pick them up. Most times I don't mind if someone has done something for me or has smoked me out before too or will probably smoke me sometime later anyway or is just a good friend I haven't seen in a while or a good friend in general. What bothers me also is when others get greedy with my stuff, just makes me wana smack them upside the head.

it's simple...I smoke my friends out when I can...they smoke me out when they can
we tell each other when we're low or out....we understand....no one takes advantage of anyone...that's why we're "friends"

argh, i hate my "friends" because of this. ok, i just bought a quarter of some nice dank like 3 days ago. now i planned on smoking most of this by myself, but due to not having a lighter or something to smoke out of, it didnt quite work out all that well. i have about 5 or 6 bowls left, and i have yet to smoke by myself. then, yesterday, i went over to one of the kids house and didnt bring my sack because, after smoking almost a quarter of dank, i didnt feel like smoking him up anymore. he got all pissy like and started yelling at me because i didnt bring my sack. oh boohoo, i've spent so much money and have never smoked by myself. this kid has boughten like 2 sacks of some schwag and has smoked me up just a few times, but even then i've had to match bowls with him.

just 2 more days and hopefully i will have enough money to buy myself a nice piece so i dont have to listen to them whine about them not getting high when, after smoking like 5 bowls, im ripped off my ass.

ok, back to yesterday i smoke some of his stuff that he STOLE from his dad and then he started to complain about not being high and that we should go get my sack and smoke 2 more bowls. i told him no, and he just went off on me. his entire life evolves around pot and it kind of makes me sick. its pot this pot that, and i know he loves it but i think he's going a little overboard. I called him once to see if he wanted to hang out and he replied with "well, i dont got pot and you dont have any so i guess there is nothing to do. maybe later" ...right. he doesnt want to hang out with me because we dont have pot. i didnt even want to smoke then, i just wanted something to do, like go to a movie or something but no, he couldnt get high so i guess he couldnt hang out with a friend.

He also gets mad because im not going to pitch in for 4th of july even though im not going to be hanging out with him. hes just using me for money and treats me like ****. everytime he calls me its always to smoke and what not and whenever i go over he asks if i want to buy any and i say "not really" he then goes and makes a phone call and tells his dealer that i want to buy some. argh

anyways, i think im going to start pinching my own bags so he thinks i have less than what i actually do. hey, its worth a shot. sorry if you read through all that stuff and had no idea what was going on. i guess i just needed to vent.

Hey leithreas, I read on the boards somewhere (which I thought was a good idea that didn't apply to me) to split up your bag into two parts. One part for what you wouldn't mind sharing and the other just what you want to smoke yourself. It's an idea.

I have a lot of problems when it comes to smoking people out. With my friends anyway. At parties I just match bowls with people. I'm a person that likes to be high with people, friends mainly, and I do occasionally smoke alone but I get bored easily and want someone to talk to and be with. It's just more fun.

Now I wouldn't mind if my freind's would return the favor of smoking me out, but they never do. Ever. I can't recall a time where a friend has gotten me high, drunk a few times, but not high. I'm usually the one who always has weed and want to smoke with other people so I share. Not a whole lot, I get pretty good stuff. 2 or 3 bowls at one sitting.

I'm a very passive person. I try to please people and I think some of my friends take advantage of that. Sometimes I think the only reason they hang out with me is so they can get high, but it's probably not true. I really don't know what to do. It seems like any way would cause me to feel uncomfortable or someone to be mad. I feel stuck.

With me and my friends...it doesnt really matter too much, u smoke a doobie now and i'll smoke a doobie later....i guess were pretty laid back about it...

Leithreas - Sorry to hear that. I know what you mean, sometimes you just want to hang out with friends and chill and do whatever, you know, just go out and such. You don't have to be stoned all the time to have fun.. And I used to know someone who would do the dealer thing too (where you say you dont want any but they call and say you did)... I absolutely hate that, so after that happening twice I just stopped hanging around that person.. Hope things improve or you find some friends who aren't like that (not that u should not be friends with this person too tho.. always good to have some people to smoke with once in a while..)

Super Women - I know what you mean about smoking with others, or at parties and such. But often times when I'm out with people I want to remeber every detail of it. So I actually prefer not to smoke many of the times so I remeber the events and the conversations. My memory is pretty bad while on marijuana (ie. i remeber what we generally did, but not in the great detail i can while sober), so i actually choose to smoke alone a lot of the time. I get to just hang around, talk to my friend via internet/phone, eat and whatever, and then eventually go out or goto sleep (depending on the time)... but that's me.
And i do enjoy smoking at sessions, where everyone just comes to smoke, and we all hang out... that wouldnt be fun sober cuz it'd just be boring

I personally never worry about this. The people I have been hanging with lately are real good about this. We don't take turns smoking with X number of hits or worry about who is pitching in. We will just bring enough bud for everyone one day and it doesn't matter, because the next time someone will do the same.

Yesterday was a good example. I brought about 5 grams and we drove around and stopped for a smoke. After that, one of the guys bought drinks and then we drove around and decided to go to the beaches (at around 10.30pm). One of the guys bought gas and then we went to the beach and smoked A LOT. After that the guy who wasn't driving bought us all some food. When we smoked they would always offer me the first few hits because I brought this time. There was no set number of hits, it was just about sitting back and smoking as much as you wanted while trying to be generous to the others. It was an awesome night, and it wasn't brought down by little arguments or negative feelings about who was sharing what and whether or not it was equal.

I have been in situations where you feel like they are using to much or it is the other way around, and it really isn't fun. Smoke alone instead of smoking with people like this.
