i'm currently laying on my bed with my trusty laptop, revising a paper that's due in a few hours. i just packed a bowl, and my roommate's cat came in after i took my first hit, as is his wont when people are smoking. i took another hit, the cat jumped up on the bed and kissed me just as i was exhaling the smoke. this struck me as rather odd, because cats hate it when you blow in their face and this one is no exception (i don't mean blow smoke, i mean when you blow in their face when they're being bad - i'm no advocate of getting pets high, either, but this one goes out of his way to get baked). but now he's curled up on a pillow next to me, purring up a storm. awww. here's a picture of him when he was 4 months old, now he's almost 9 months. wish he was mine, but he's my roommate's. actually i only want him when he's being cute/affectionate - when he tries to kill me by getting in my path when i'm walking around in the dark, or disgusts me by humping my pillow or blanket (he's verrrry horny...it's got to be a hormone problem or something, because he's fixed but my roommates and i still catch him humping a couple times a week or so), he's "that fking bastard of a cat". i have a dog at my mom's, i'll attach a pic of him to another post.

Here's my dog, Mikey, short for Michelangelo. I love this dog to bits, and so does everyone who meets him. I got him for my eleventh birthday, and he's turned out to be the sweetest dog I've ever known. He's really wimpy - example: the other day there was a motorcycle parked across the street from my house...my mom let the dog outside...he got out on the driveway, saw the motorcycle (it wasn't even running, just parked) and ran into the house, tail tucked in between his legs. He can't hide it when he's been bad - we can tell something happened just by observing his guilt-filled visage. You don't even have to punish him - a simple "bad dog!" and he's miserable and begging to get back into your good graces. He's also a cuddle freak - if you're laying on the couch or sitting down, there's a guarantee he'll come up and shove his nose under your hand in a plea for attention or jump up and snuggle right in, and he cries at night if someone doesn't let him into their bed to sleep with them. He's really passive because our other dog that died a couple years ago was alpha and was really mean to him. Umm, I'd better stop before I bore y'all...can you tell I miss him a lot when I'm at college?

Here's my dog, Jake. He's 9 months old, and I think he thinks I'm his mommy. He's a lapdog even though he's not exactly small, and sleeps in my bed keeping my feet warm at night. Oh yeah and he's responsible for my 200th post.

Here is a ~1 year old pic of my dog lance, who I got a little bit after last Christmas. He's probably 30-40 something pounds now, and about 5 or 6 times as big ![]()
