I dunno. I think being drunk is far more subtle than being high.

now mind you I loathe alcohol and very, VERY rarely get drunk. In fact I'm drunk right now, for the third time in my life.

BUT

alcohol is FAR more subtle than pot. It took me 15 minutes of thinking about to realize I was drunk, but oh man I *know* I'm high after a minute or two.

That's a really interesting theory that I have also observed. I have this one firend who is really an extreme extrovert, and he claimed not to feel anything for the first few dozen times I smoked him out. It took until we sat down and smoked four blunts straight until he claimed to be stoned. Before that occasion, I never could tell whether he was high or not, even though his eyes were always bloodshot and he complained of drymouth. Since that time, though, he has gotten high every single time we've smoked, copius amounts or not.

If your friend is already dead, and being eaten by vultures, I think it's okay to feed some bits of your friend to one of the vultures, to teach him to do some tricks. But only if you're serious about adopting the vulture.

My best friend says she doesn't get high from smoking. I've smoked with her a lot of times, she seems pretty normal and I think she's inhaling right. I mean, it's not that difficult that inhale. We did make some cookie type things and she was blowed. I'd be interested to know the explanation for this...

I always assume that cooking with MJ is much better because of the efficiency (hardly any wasting of the bud than say a pipe or joint) and that you are ingesting a gram or more into your body at once. Also, the fact that your digestive system is (although slower than the lungs) very, very effective at absorbing things is also a factor.
