I think this may be the bast place to ask. I want to know if you have heard or maybe you know someone around you that even if it is the 50th time he/she smokes, he/she won't get high.

It is the case with my gf. She smoked more than once but she never felt high in the head, she just feels it a little in her body but that's it.

That's annoying because when we smoke together, we do not have the same trip . I mean she keeps telling me that she don't understand what I mean when I say that my head is ****ed up.

HELP ME! or her!

maybe you should smoke more with her, try using a bong instead of smoking joints.

i knew a guy once too were me, him and another dude would go smoke in are early days of puffing and me and the dude would get ripped as hell, and the other guy was complaining "its not working!" even tho we saw him taking and blowing smoke out after hitting joints. so another time we used a bong, i packed a chamber for him (12 inch bong) and told him to take everything, he did, he did about 3 full chambers and after his face was pale and his eyes were red as f*ck and kinda bulging out of his head and he sounded faint when he said "i feel numb and tingly" and i knew he was as high as a mutherf*cker.

so just try smoking more, or use a more effiecent smoking device instead of joints (if u were hitting joints I assume.)

If you're talking about a bong being 'more efficient' than a joint... then I'm afraid you are mistaken.. at least as far as the MAPS-NORML study on various smoking devices. It's somewhere on the front page. In any case, the water actually filters out THC with every hit, so you end up smoking more to get just as high.. the only thing more efficient as far as THC/hit is a vaporizer. That also has the benefit of reducing the amount of carcinogens you breathe in too..

As for your girlfriend.. sounds to me like either she's not smoking as much as you, she's not noticing the 'head high', or she's got some weird immunity to THC.. I can honestly vouch for the 'not noticing' the head high part.. I smoked for a good year before I ever really noticed it. The whole getting glued to the nearest couch/chair/comfortable piece of floor part always took over for me..

To me.. it sounds like she just needs to smoke more..

I've known a few people like this.

In one case, it didn't matter what I'd do, they just wouldn't get very high... no idea why.

In all other cases, the person wasn't inhaling properlly. After explaining it many times, they finally began inhaling properlly.

The difficulty after that is getting people to recognize the high. Smoking bud is not like alcohol, it doesn't take control of you and throw you around, you have to know what to look for otherwise you may not notice it (i know it sounds weird, but it's true!).

Most experienced people (probably everyone on this board) can immediatly tell as soon as they're just beginning to get under the influence, they can feel it. But new people can't, they just don't know what to look for.

Try explaining it, and explain how to inhale properlly... other than that, i'm not sure...

yeah i agree with techno_trancer, give her sum bong hits, and i do think bongs are more efficient than joints, one bowl from my bong gets me higher than a joint, and a joint is approx 2.5 bowls

My friend had the exact same problem. That problem was solved when we smoked him out with some dank nuggets rather than the schwiggity. That usually does the trick.

At most, 6% of the THC gets filtered out, and that depends on the size of the chamber. And... with a joint, realize that there is more weed, but it runs, and a LOT of dope goes up in smoke.

i don't in any way suggest that.

You don't even get that much more THC by holding hits... just lack of oxygen... i rarely hold my hits for anymore than 2-3 seconds anymore, and i still get just as high as i ever did.
