Hey, has anyone out there read any of his books?

And who's Don Juan? One of the characters?

I own 'Tales of Power' and 'Journey to Ixtlan', and am considering reading them, although I'd like to know what to expect first.

Right now I'm reading his book "Teaching of Don Juan- A Yauqi Way of Life"

Its a good book so far but I'm only on page 12 since I just got to the actually book part last night (it had a good author's not and foreward).

I'm half way through the book now and its really good. Very informational. I just wish I had more time to read it. The only time I get to read it is before bed and of course by that time I'm wicked tired. But oh well. How do you like the one you're reading so far, Vaya?

Ohh man dont even get me started. Castaneda is amazing i have been reading his books since i did my senior thesis on disproving the existence of a solid reality.

I am all the way up to The Fire From Within, and i intend on ordering the rest of them with my next check i get from work. Alls i can really say is read them, then read it again, and then possibly a third time cause it gets chaotic trying to make heads and tails of what Don Juan is trying to teach.

I wish both of you luck on your path to becoming men/women of knowledge

Im 12 pages away from finishing 'Journey to Ixtlan', then I will start 'Tales of Power'... Its crazy, I gotta talk to someone about the book one on one though, someone who's read it before but none of my friends have even heard of castaneda. but all I can say is it is probably the best book I've ever read. Therefore, I await Tales of Power with excitedness!

Hey man im always around on aim to discuss them one on one just drop me a line. I have read the first 2 books twice, i have a neat copy of the first that has his structural diagnosis of his notes in the back, now thats a tough thing to understand.

I wish i could find someone like Don Juan in the world today, maybe one day i will that would be amazing.

But yeah you know my contacts.
