Well, I was out and about this morning, and I heard some guy whistle from across the street. So, I look across the street, and see him waving at me.Well, I didn't recognize him, but I didn't want to be rude, so I waved back, only to realize he was waving at some guy behind me.
DOI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Damm i know what you mean, its not your fault though, its ALL HIS FAULT.
The "caller" should always specify who the "callee" is when noticing there are more than one "callees" in the general direction of the intended one. ex:

"Yo, Robert!" ::waves::

Yeah, I really hate when that happens. The trick is to never wave at anyone. Just walk around with your head down.

yeah that happens to me all the time, i always feel like a loser cause its usually a preety girl or something and im like "hey she noticed me" then she talkin to someone else. and then when i dont want it to happen i ignore the person thinkin they are talking to someone else and then it turns out they are talkin to me and they think i have hearin problems

LOL you shoulda seen John Howard (australias prime minister..our version of dubyah) go to shake this celebrities hand...and the guy walked straight past him. he had to do the whole "pretend you were just scratching your head" thing...it was f*ing hilarious

When im out in public and i hear someone yell my immediate response is to yell : AHHHHHHH that way if they yell again wether or not it was meant for me i can look at them and not look stupid (besides for the initial screaming) it works

Im a big fan of yelling random choice words in crowds and see who looks but, we wont get into that
