Ok, so I'm going to Amsterdam in 5 months with my sister (who will be 21 when we go) and I'm 16.

I was wondering if anyone who has been to Amsterdam knows about how harsh the 18+ law for smoking (and drinking, if that's the age) is? I want to go to the coffeeshops and smoke, but I don't want to be carded and kicked out.

Also, I want to go to some live sex shows as well (most likely) and was wondering if there is an age limit on this, and again how strictly is it enforced.

If you could please help me with my age concerns it would be greatly appreciated.

If thde plice come in, for ANY reason, and find you at 16 on the premises.
The shop will be closed immediately.
The people working in the shop will lose their jobs.
The owner will receive fines and or criminal sanctions.
Be responsible.
Have your sister buy it and smoke it in a park.

Then go back when you are 18.

By the way, the koffie shop owners are very aware of what happens if youare caught in their shop.

They will not serve you.

Hey, I thought of a couple more questions.. if somone could also reply to these it'd help as well, thanks.

First off, can you buy space cakes (or other weed laced food) and take it out of the coffeeshop (say my sister goes in and buys a space cake then comes out and gives it to me) ?

Also I was wondering if they let you buy joints .. I'm assuming this one is a yes.. so let's say my sister buys me like 5 joints or something like that.. (though i think by the first i'll be stoned off my ass) since i wont have a roach clip .. what should i do with the joint when im almost finished with it .. should i treat it as i would a cigarette and just put it out on the ground and leave the rest there.. or put it out on the ground and throw it away?

I know it sounds kind of lame.. but these are seriously some concerns I have.. lol.. and again I'd like to know if anyone knows about the live sex shows and age limits.. thanks alot for your help

The Dutch police have bigger fish to fry.
If you behave yourself, and do not becoame a nuisance, it is very unlikely they will be interested in you.

As far as joints, they do sell them prerolled.
The European way is weed or hash mixed into tobacco and then rolled.
you must ask if you want an "American" style joint made of only weed. it will be more expensive. Roll your own, most places have paper dispensers on the walls free for gurests.
The beauty of Amsterdam/Holland...you do not have to get so stoned that you can hardly keep your eyes open. A regular clean supply means that binge smoking *Smoking up half of your stash on the first night because its been months since you had any..*
is not necessary.
I smoke til I receive the glow I like, and then wait to go get some more.

If I knew how to roll I would probably do that.. bout how much more expensive would it be for an "american" joint? I don't know the prices.. I'm sure it varries from shop to shop and quality..

btw will it be hard for my sister to just go into a shop and ask for an american joint? will she have to choose the strain, etc?

They sell them pre rolled
and english is spoken everywhere in holland.
you are making too much of this.
Trust me, you are far from the first americans to come across the water.

As far as prices, it is a free market, I do my shopping in Groningen, which is less touristy, less crowded, and closer to where I live.

lol, I know I'm making too much of this.. I just worry alot.. I'm not even going for 5 months and I've been having anxiety about it..

Such as what *could* happen .. I should really see a doctor or something bout it .. lmao.. but nah that costs money .. I work it all out by myself.. I just have to keep reminding myself that I'm in control of my fear .. my fear doesnt control me.

Anywayyyyy... thanks alot for your help, still no one's answered the sex show question.. but I found out that 12 year olds can have sex and such .. so I figure that I'll be able to get in a sex show..

BTW, does anyone know if you can take porn back to the states? lmao... no.. seriously
