Just wondering, how are your parents with regards to smoking pot?
Do they know? Would they mind? Do they mind?
Are you a parent who smokes pot? etc...

I'm 16, I'm a social & occasional pot smoker, and my mom is too.
I don't live with, or really know my dad, but he used to be a drug addict, so f**k his opinion.

I guess I'm one of the lucky ones who doesn't have to worry about getting caught, except by the cops.

Sixteen here too, occasional smoker only because I can't hold down a job

My mom seems alright with it, she grew up in the day of drugs and free love and all that hippy stuff so she understands things. My dad still smokes with his friend every once in a while and I hear he used to grow hedgemaze sized plants back in the day. He doesnt know and I doubt he will find out soon. His reaction probably won't be too bad, luckily he ain't living with us so that reduces the chances he finds out.

Well today's my 16th birthday and I think my stepdad's getting me a pipe......if my mom approves of that. I think he might just get it without asking her though...lol I can smoke weed at my moms house cuz my mom and my stepdad both smoke, but my dad doesn't approve at all even tho he used to be a total pothead. So i only have to worry about him catching me....and im only at his house on weekends, and he can never tell when im high anyways......he always accuses me of being high or drunk when im completely sober.....haha

i dont bring it up to them, and they dont bring it up to me.

that works, but i think if it ever came out into the open they'd be fine with it... i'm pretty old now so it wouldnt matter anyways

i'm 16 soon to be 17 and my parents know i smoke pot but don't approve of it. They don't punish me when i get caught with weed they just tell me how its bad and how i can get arrested etc. Obviously my parents don't smoke pot but i think they might have because of their somewhat laid back attitude. I think they just want to be responsible parents and not let me smoke pot. I feel that they know that i'm old enough to make my own decisions and that i'm an educated young adult. They know i've been smoking for a while and i still have good grades and don't get in trouble so i guess i've proved that everything they've ever been told about pot is a LIE.

i told my mom april 27. she "wishes i wouldnt" but cant say its bad for me, because she knows it isnt. the main reason is that it's illegal and that i have already been in trouble with pot before with the cops (paraph. she thought i didnt smoke then, even after i got caught) and so thats why.

she tends to joke around with it, but she also reduced my curfew by 2 hours oh well, it was worth it. gained a lot more respect just by telling them

I just told my mom 3 weeks ago I smoked pot because I was getting dreams every night of getting caught I was seriously going nuts! So I told my mom I smoke and she was cool with it she was like just don't caught and it was such a big relief. We acutally got closer now because of this because she used to smoke.
