...okay, this is a question ive been milliing around in my mind for awhile. are there any women out there who do not want children later on in life? of course this question could apply to men as well, but i am more curious to here from the female population (though anyones views are more than welcome).

Well Sorry, I'm not a girl, but I can tell you that I definately will NOT reproduce. I think there are too many people in the world as it is, and would hate to bring another human in to our society.

Hey there.
I am a female, I am 21. I have no kids yet, but my husband and I have been trying for the past 2 years to have a baby.

Children are a blessing, I guess I belive that because I came from a large family. (Oldest of 7) I have seriously thought about this also, because I have been practically changing dipers and babysitting my whole life. I have thought about taking a break for a few more years, just because I have a lot of friends (younger and older) that are misrable because they got pregnant so young. (Not that they hate their kids, just have to look for a babysitter etc.) I enjoy the time my husband and I have together alone, but we both want kids sometime soon.

I have a neice that just turned 2, sometimes we all get really stoned (not around her) and sit around in the living room. The T.V. is on, but we all watch her instead. She is helarious! She dances to commercials, sings, harasses the cat and chases it around the room. If we are talking about something, she mimics what we are saying. We all sit around and laugh at her. She has her good moments, and bratty ones too. But don't we all?

So I guess you would say yes, I will reproduce. Hopefully sooner, than later. I think the older a woman gets, (like late 30's early 40's) there is a larger risk that there can be something wrong with the baby. If I don't have kids by 40, I will have to adopt.

Some women are more career-oriented and some want BABY! BABY! BABY! Lots of the career women will tell you that they want to have one later on. Personally, I would say a lot has to do with when that clock starts ticking. Another factor was mentioned - women rebound easier when in their 20s than their 30s than their 40s. The chance of a healthy baby decreases somewhat as the woman gets older also. Most women thinking about children know this and will account for it.

Im male and i dont think I will ever want kids but Im only 19 so I could change my mind in time.
My girlfriend (31) doesnt want kids either... she has the same take on it as I do...the world is too messed up to bring a kid into.
Plus kids annoy the hell out of me with their big freaky heads and their big front teeth and their annoying habit of dribbling and peeing on everything. lol

That's one of the reasons for being alive, to procreate. Who knows, maybe one of my kids will solve world peace or legalize MJ.

Im sure theres a load of women out there that would disagree... Theyre the ones that have to give birth to the things. We just do the job and then we relax... ahhh.

I was the one who told my parents I was never going to have kids. Didn't plan on it but when the 1st one came, I just loved it. We opted for a second, and now I'm back to my original opinion. LOL I don't hate them, or wish they weren't here, it just awfully hard at times. I'm happy to know there are no more chances of having anymore! That's it for me!

My sister on the other hand has always wanted kids. In fact today is her 29th birthday, and through out half a decade of trying has failed to concieve. Isn't it ironic how things work out?
