I posted a few days ago somewhere that i also got busted.
I'll tell my story again...*sigh*

Theres a football(soccer for the american) field a couple blocks away from my house and its in the bottom of a little valley. Anyways there are lots of trees there and cops dont pass there a lot and you cant see people down there from the street. Anyways i was supposed to meet 2 dudes (that i met at this same place the day before) to buy 15 grams, but i got there 15 minutes late because i got cought up in the fuggin' bank. So when i get there they are gone but i see to other dudes and i decide what the hell since im here i'll ask them to smoke me up.

The 2 dudes had already smoked a fat ass joint but i ask if they dont want to smoke some more and they do even though one said that he was baked out of his mind. He tells me to roll cause his rolling skills when stoned are zero. One of them breaks the weed from the chunk (about 10 grams) and i start to break it up in my hand when one of them goes

dude: Hey man is that a cop?
me: where?
dude: over there coming down and he is heading over here

I get up walk to a log and place the weed and my paper behind it and the other dude throws the chunck of weed in the middle of the bushes. And we just stay there seated on a log. But one of them gets all paranoid and starts to leave the cop stops in front of me and the other dude and tells the other one to come back or he'll go after him. I call him telling that we got nothing to hide so he comes back and gives his backpack to the cop. Nothing in there just a kimono. Then the cops starts saying that he has nothing against potheads, he was just looking out for us because we were the victims and that some mugger go down there and steal people (never seen one). what were we going to do if he (the mugger) pulls a gun on us.

Then he looks at me and says "havent i seen you here before?"
"me? i dont think so this is one of my 1st times down here" (but yeah it was me that he saw). There were 3 other dudes there to but a little higher sitting on another log with a guitar and when they see the cop they leave very discreatily and one of the dudes goes "its them you should go after" heheheh the cop laughs and tells us to watch out.

10 minutes later im baked and what do you know? The muggers show up, but they didnt take anything since we didnt have anything of value.

thats it, i went to the arcades with them played a little pinball and went home

What a buzzkill! Does that happen often?

To be honest, I always get the names of the chinese malls/plazas mixed up. The only way I remember this place is that there is a restaurant called Luculus that is always packed. It's not downtown or anything... it's around the richmond hill area.

We definetly need a T.O. Session

The best place for smoking is at the beaches. I went there a few times at around 5.00am... imagine sitting on these big rocks right by the water, toking up, and watching the sun rise

To be honest, yes. I have been mugged once and had several other attempts of getting my wallet/watch/shoes/cap/clothes stolen. Usually i confront the dude until he shows me a gun or a knife (which i have never seen), i had my air knocked out of me once when i refused to give my watch to 2 kids, i have several stories of running like hell and jumping inside a store of something to get away from kids trying to steal me. Its not uncommon to be walking around downtown (night or day) and kid goes like "hey man nice watch, hand it over" or "can you spare me a buck" and when you open you wallet he takes everything....i know a guy that must be written on his forehead 'easy victim' he had several watches/shoes/caps stolen...

You know in that epsiode in simpsons where they are here in Brazil and the little kids stole their stuff while they were talking to the juice stand lady? Saddly its true, that happens, specially to dumb turists that dont know where to go.

It doesnt happen to me very often now days cause im a pretty big dude(6''3' 170lbs), but when i was younger i had to dogde some streets where i knew the chances of getting stolen were high

Oh well, consider yourself lucky... you may get mugged frequently, but the bud is dirt cheap

If you lived here, you would probably lose more money from buying MJ than you do getting mugged

And yeah, a session in TO sounds awesome.. just wait a month 'til I get my proper license.. damn MTO went on strike at exactly the wrong time for me so my test is now mid-sept

I probably made it sound worse than what really is. Its worse in Rio or São Paulo. But yeah its life here, you have always to be looking around where you go...
