Its finally happened to me, I've finally been busted.
Yesterday, I made a real project out of cleaning my pipes and bong. I spent a few hours scraping and cleaning everything with alcohol. I had a concoction of alcohol and resin and boiled out all the alcohol to make a fair bit a resin.

Then the evening came, I called out one of my friends, and we pulled some missions to get weed and got 3 dimes. We had 3 dimes and a bunch of resin and couldn't wait to get really baked and just chill out, so we decided to go to a secluded park, way out in the outskirts of town.

My friend and his girlfriend and me were all sitting in my car while I was rolling a fat joint with the weed and resin. We were really looking forward to smoking this monster. As you can see, a lot of love went in to this baby. Well just as I was finishing rolling this massive j, an unmarked van pulls up behind us and two people jump out dressed in some ghetto looking clothes and flashlights. Just then we realize that we're busted, I threw the joint under my seat as the woman opened my door and starts yelling at me, "where is weed?!?!" I'm like "huh????" she starts yelling at me again, "where is it, we're going to find it anyway, now where is the weed?!?" all While the man opens the passenger side and says to my friend, "what the hell are you guys doing here??" my friend says, "nothing" he looks at him, he's holding a pack of rolling papers in his hands, and says again, "it doesn't look like your doing nothing, what are you doing with those???" my friend answers "nothing". So all this is going on and I just say, "ok, I'll give you everything I have, I have a joint rolled that I threw under the seat" Well she tells us to get out of the car and takes the joint then they searched us. As the lady po was searching me, I looked over at my friend as the other po was yelling at him, apparently he lied to him saying he had nothing and found 2 dimes on him and was giving him major **** for it, they practically strip searched him. They wanted to see around his belt and asked him to lift his shirt. So she starts searching the rest of my car and finds a peace of plastic and a bag both covered in resin. The lady comes up to me and asks, "is this hash?", I answer "no, its just some stuff that I scraped off something, she says, "so its hash!" I tell her "no, its resin" well this goes on they searched my friends girlfriends car and found a few empty dime baggies, they took a knife saying it was a weapon and they can arrest us for it or just take it away, she started examining it and thought it was a switch blade, she tried to swing it open like a switch blade and just made herself look stupid and said " oh, this knife is a little sticky" ya because its not meant as a ****en weapon, you dumb *****, well I didn't exactly say that but that’s what I was thinking. They took our ids and asked us to get back in our cars. We sat there as they wrote us up, they ask us to come to their car and hand us two slips, me and my friend now have an appearance notice to court for a person not yet charged with an offence. We have to show up in court in about a month. The ocifer turns to my friends girlfriend and says "what are you doing hanging out with these guys" I've heard this line twice before when we were harassed by cops. This just pisses me off.

Well after that they just left us there and drove off, we sat there no weed and nothing to do we drove back to decide what to do now. We were so pissed and depressed about the whole situation. Grabbed some munchies and decided to pick up another 20 sack and rolled 2 nice sized j's and drove down the highway smoking the whole way while my friends girlfriend drove. We drove around downtown totally blitzed out it was fun.

It may have been a bad night but it ended happily, except the fact that we have to go to court. The cops told us we'll most likely just have to pay a small fine if any and nothing will happen. What I don't want is a criminal record.

damn man, that sucks a lot. you're kinda lucky that all you got was a ticket for a court appearance and nothing else.

here's my first rule of leaving the house to toke: never ever go to a secluded place. never be the only one there.

Dude, that really sux. Doesn't that just piss you off? A form of, well, entertainment more harmless than alchohol and tobacco and you get busted for it!?! I know it's pretty obvious, but it's these sorts of situations that brings the whole fukked up legal status of MJ into light. It really makes you feel depressed and small, doesn't it? Makes you feel like ****, even though you know you shouldn't. Ah well, I'll spark up a bowl for ya. G'luck in court.

Sounds like you really got your right violated. The police can't just run to your car and pull you out and search it. I think you should definitley fight this. Hopefully get those corrupt cops thrown on the street and get your charges dismissed. Good luck.

its true, it does seem your rights were violated. but dont try to fight it. you got lucky just gettin a fine. if you fight it, you will most likely not win. next time be more careful and be grateful its just a fine and a court appearance.

You've just revived my faith in never visiting the US. Civil rights smival rights eh? I might come down for Hempfest onetime because Seattle isnt that far if I remember my geography unless I hear some more horrifying stories like this.

What a drag man. I know people dont like to be given lessons and stuff, i know i dont. But i have a tip gor you and the other people here. When the cops pull over dont throw the weed away or try to hide it, unless you got a big stash throw someout out of your car. If you got just a joint or a little bit of stash eat it. Just shove the whole joint in your mouth and eat the bugger.

i said this in another post... it seems to me, that like 3 out 5 times when you get busted... it's in a car.. and if you're not in a car, you're smokin in public somewhere.. if not that, then it's a preplanned raid on a dealer.. i'm never smokin in public or a car man.. i roll everything in the safety of my room, and smoke it on the porch or in the barn... or i'll ****in eat it like an hour before hand if i'm goin out...

But yeah i bet if you searched for threads on being busted you would find a theme in all of them, like being in a car and smoking. Never a good idea. Let this be a lesson to you.
