in the new issue of rolling stone magazine, snoop dogg, a man long regarded as the worlds biggest stoner, a man that has graced the cover of HIgh Times, declared that he no longer smokes marijuana. I quote him from the magazine as saying," I have smoked enough to last 3 lifetimes." He says that he quit since he is the ceo of a business now and wants to focus all his energy on that business( his adult movie line of videos). Pick up the new issue of Rolling Stone and check it out for yourself. I for one am shocked.This is a sad day for stoners everywhere.

and there's nothing humble about it.It's a publicity stunt.It's not a sad day for this stoner,and personally speaking,I think he's done nothing for anyone but himself..and,he seems to lack the ability to express his thoughts intellegently.So,he says he quit smoking marijuana.....For what?........to focus on porno?

The worst part, i think, is how he was saying B.S. like "I don't want to be a dead legend"...from weed? A dead legend, FROM WEED? What is he, an idiot or something?

C'mon, cut the guy some slack. It isn't inconceivable to anyone trying to get ahead in corporate America that one might want to [at least] cut back... I don't smoke on company time, ever - partly because it simply isn't professional, and partly because my department/company is cutthroat enough that if I don't keep my eyes on the target I could end up at the wrong end of the rifle range [figuratively speaking].

Snoop Dogg will never have to worry that his stoner legend will fade - but he may have legitimate concerns about keeping his business afloat. [and yes! porn is a legitimate industry; take a good look at just how much $$ we spend on sex in this country]

The freedom to smoke should be nothing more than the flipside of the freedom not to. No fair crucifying people for not playing the game by your rules.

I've siad it once and I'll say it agian, who gives a flying Fluck. His smoking or not will not effect anyone an anyway (except for his dealer). He doesn't want smoke well then good for him. I don't think of him as some weed icon, Hell I've haven't liked any of his ablums since he left Death Row.

Hey, if he wants to smoke, cool, smoke, if he wants to stop, cool, stop, whatever is right for him. Even if he's saying he's stopping and doesn't, wow, he's lying to the media, but then again, who cares. I'll still smoke or not smoke regardless.

I always am happy for anyone who decides to stop smoking, because, frankly, it's a big hassle, and if you decide smoking is not worth it for you, power to you! I guess I just like to see people who can have the intelligence to see that they need / want to stop, and the self-control to actually go through with it. It's all about the comfort of knowing there are intelligent potheads out there.

Sorry if most of this wasn't about Snoop, just wanted to get my lil paragraph in =).
