I've been reading posts lately and noticed that it seems like most people here have step-parents, So I decided to start a poll and see who does. Me for starting, I do, well actually I have a screwed up family kind of. My mom and dad divorced when I was too young to remember then they both got remarried. My mom is still together with my step-dad but my Dad and step-mom got divorced about a year and a half ago, so they're still kind of going through it and all. So now I have three houses I go to, My mom and step-dads, My dads, and my step-moms. I still go to her house because I've known her for since as long as I can remember cause my dad met her when I was 1 maybe younger. Ya, so what about everybody else?

I think that both my parents would be smoking pot today if it weren't for my step-parents. That's ok, because they are good people.

Both parents remarried other people and had children with them. Both are still married.

I haven't given any serious thought to what I would do about the other step-parent if they divorced. They have both really become a fairly large facet of my life. (not necessarily a good thing)

Still, I never had to think about my half-siblings dealing with divorce. The parents are around 60 now, so it's a little late in the game to be getting divorced at this point. IMHO.

Just to represent the other side, my parents are still married after about 25 years, still appear to be happy with each other.

My mum and my step-mum were never in good terms, but i like my step-mum betta though.
