So i had just been noticed that i have a court date and have to go to some drug and alcohol classes. I know i will be tested so i have quit smoking. I want t hear about you guys and how getting caught has affected and your marijuana smoking lifestyle or if it asnt and ur the exact same person.

I have about 6 months ofsobriety ahead of me and just want to know what to expect.

If you read my answer to the thread you started in PYR, that will give you some heads up. Come on, if this was a "bust" it is a very minor "bust". Heck, you're not even sure what happened or how you are charged. Like I said, chances are this will never stay on your record anyway. YOU are the one that will decide where your life heads. I doubt this will keep you out of jobs, etc. The one that will keep you from getting a good job is YOU. It depends what your life direction is. You have plans for after H.S.? What are you doing to make yourself successful? Now if your life goal is to keep on getting high as an adult and happy to work for minimum wage, then you can be all set.

i got busted, went to court blah blah blah all that bull****.

Did that stop me from smoking? HELL NO! damn i went to court high, just my little way of giving the system a f*ck you

but i did not have to be tested and all that, so i was lucky there

Dont worry,
If its your first time, K9 is right, you prolly will get it off you record, for some community service, or rehab, just be like"No contest" thats like bargining with the court. Instead of going to trial (cost the state money) the state would rather comprimise saying no contest is accepting punishment without recieveng guilt. Affter half a year or whatever if you get a PO your off. besides many police are pretty cool about small position(err at least in my experiance)

i've been busted twice, once sophomore year in high school and once at the end of senior year. i am still very much the same person and i am still smoking today. i was an honor graduate there and am now making my way through college and doing fine. alcohol has caused much more personal problems for me than weed. what i'm trying to say by this is don't let it get you down, just be careful and responsible (i've failed to do this in the past). weed doesn't make you a criminal, prohibition does.

I thankfully only had to go to an unofficial one on one advice session with my dad, which really did no good at all. I toked up once I got home (my little "**** you" to parents and system). However I have since promised my mum that I wouldn't smoke in the house any more and intend to keep my promise, just to show them some repect. However, if I chose not too, I could have continued to smoke just like before. Not that my situation is similar to yours anyway! Good luck anyway, pal!

Ive been busted by the cops twice the first time they said i would have to go to probation and all this bull **** and they sent a letters saying they would call in 2 weeks and they never did. THat was 4 years ago and i was caught with a half o. ANd i just got caught 3 weeks ago hotboxing my car and they found a pipe and some weed and they just gave me a speeding ticket. ya were lucky here in BC!!!
