Default i love canada

i love canada because people are so nice

when you call to renew insurance, valerie the receptionist is polite

when you get a cuppa joe, the coffeegrrl says thanks with a smile

canada is the land of nice people

and why are they so nice?

because a lot of us are so fired up and blazed

we can't help but be nice.

Nah, that's not why we're nice.

But yeah I went to Tim Horton's the other day, and the girl serving me was like, slightly rude sounding. I was appalled.

I get the feeling I wouldn't last 3 days in the US.

Even though I live in America, I agree that we are a bunch of jackasses.

except for me, of course.

Want to know what gets me? How much we say sorry. I bumped into a guy, totally my fault, and he apologizes as I make to do the same I can be so polite sometimes, its subconsious now, I dont even think about it. In hallways, I have politeness matches with people to let the other man go first, then I come to my senses and move forward

Politeness greases the wheels of society. I can't imagine a place where you dont say please or hold the door open for people coming in behind you.

And what was terrifying was not that they would kill you for thinking otherwise, but that they might be right. For, after all, how do we know that two and two make four? Or that the force of gravity works? Or that the past is unchangeable? If both the past and the external world exist only in the mind, and if the mind itself is controllable what then?"

that is so cool.

Around here you would probably have to fight someone over something that simple.

I try to be polite, but it is hard around here.

I can't wait until I move my southern ass up to Canada.

I hate the US.

from living in the US, i've heard my fair share of canada jokes but didnt really care for them. the british lost to america the first time, they came back with a vengeance and took half the north american continent, simple as that

i've been to toronto and montreal before, but i found them VERY similar to american cities (except for the bitter cold of course). but after visiting this site i have started to develop an appreciation for canada because of their views on mj. keep it up canada, ur doin great

I really love it here, in Canada.

Everyone is really nice, it's as simple as that. Politeness isn't second nature, it's first here.

That Happens to me everyday...I am always about to say sorry, but the other guy will beat me to it even when it's my fault

Yea i'm really happy that I live in Canada, and especially a big city like Toronto. Besides the people being nice, and it being a cool place to live, the pot laws are absolutely killer. You cant get in trouble for anything, its so crazy. anyhoo..
