Xmas day...i showed up a little bit late to the family gathering (1 1/2 hours) because my brother and i smoked a blunt on the way. i went to a friend's after dinner, and when i got home, my mother said to me, "i don't think it was a good idea for you to smoke marijuana before you came to uncle k's house" i said "what makes you think i was smoking marijuana?" she replied that my brother and i had reeked of it. oooooops.

the other story...my mother's birthday is a few days after christmas, so my extended family met at our favorite restaurant. she was opening her presents, and she unwrapped a cigar holder from my grandparents. everyone was just kinda looking at each other for a minute or two, trying to figure it out, when we realized my grandmother wrapped the wrong present (she's getting a little peculiar) and started joking about it. my mom picked it up and started to smoke it ala Groucho Marx. my eyes about popped out of my head, and my uncle caught my eye and whispered, i bet you want that don't you? i just kinda shrugged and tried to look innocent, and he winked.

my mom always used to flip out when she caught wind of my toking, so it was very odd that she barely reacted.
