I have family that lives there, or near there. I can't remember if it's Utica or one of the directly adjacent towns. They're not too into weed, though...they're Russian Orthodox.

Actually, it's ironic, my uncle used to be a very large pothead, living with Rastafarians and such. He has minor relapses now and then, talking longingly about "Joints the size of your arm" and things like that.

At any rate, I went there last summer (2002) and went boating a few times - they're members of that sailing club.

I didn't really look for any green there, unfortunately.

Man! I knew an ex-hippie who used to drive me insane with things like that. He'd talk about garbage bags full of pot. He'd talk about rolling joints with weed tumbling onto the floor and it was so plentiful that no-one even bothered to pick it up. His tales of the 60s are agony.
