Anyone have the problem with people who never have money or bud but is always around to smoke yours? Ahh of course you all do. But wtf do you do when your best friend youve known since like...2nd grade....turns into a Scavenger!

but seriously, my friend has become the cheapest peice of crap ive ever had the misfortune of knowing. Now i know hes one of my best friends and all, and i dont want to be a complete d!ck to him. but my word that kid hasnt had his own money or bud for like 2months. He even has a good paying job, then again his gold-diggin girlfriend doesnt help either.

Now the only real problem is...if i been strict and mean, he will get the idea but we will most likely get into alota arguments.
and on the other hand, if i be subtle and understandable about it, he will mostly just overlook it and continue to be a skeeby little stone F. Oh ya he also a huge tobacco feing too.

I think everyone has this problem sooner or later. I do not know you or your friend, but I can tell you how I handle it. I share a bowl or two with the person (so both of us are calm), then during the normal course of stoned conversation, I ask him if he could spring for half of the next buy. Then I let them know that I can't keep letting him smoke for free, but will play the give and take game with him if he would please spring for some out of his pocket. For me...this usually works out fine. In the few times it doesn't go over well, it is usually to the fact that he has no hookup. If you trust him enough to hook him up with a source, then offer. Be honest and calm. If he is your friend, it will work out fine and you'll be asking yourself why you didn't clear the air sooner.

Yah .. jsut be as honest as possible ... it has worked for me. I mentioned this in another thread, but my friends and I now have a system worked out. One of us contributes the bud for a month at a time. Each new month, someone else is resposible for bringing bud. However we all have hookups, and we all know eachothers hookups, so we are hardly ever dry.

Work something out, It should solve your problem.

Everyone hates a scavenger. Point that out to him and say "look, stop being such a fcking scavenger and bring some of your own." If that doesn't work, cut him off. It sucks, but it something needs to be done

I know someone like that...he's also a rude little *****, sometimes. Here's what we did.

Me, him and a chick are sitting in a park smoking weed...I've got about 2g, she's got 1g, he's got nothing, as usual. We make sure that the rotation lets me and her each take a few hits from each bowl before he gets any. Later that night, he's being annoying about something (even after we snuck into a movie because he didn't have $$$ for a ticket), so we ditch him at the movie. The next tuesday he calls me and wants to buy some of his own

You got to just teach scavangers a lesson...you can also just make them pay for munchies, movies, gas, and any other little costs like that.
