Hey... I'm deaf and i was wondering if there was anybody else on the boards that's deaf like me. I've noticed that a lot of my deaf friends are tokers so I was wondering if there was at least one other deaf toker on marijuana.com, i know im not the only one... Juz wondering.

Vaya, i wasn't born deaf but i lost my hearing when i was little for some reasons. Neway, now i can hear with my hearing aids. Its nice to be able to turn them off when im stoned and just drift into silenceness... Gets pretty peaceful.

oh yeah, i listen to music too, mainly punk and mellow rock.

......your my new god, nuts to my old one that failed me horribly. That would be so awesome to just shut sound off, I would probably follow in Homers footsteps:

I want to be deaf Or deaf like you are, that sounds so nice. Do you pretend that your hearing devices dont work when annoying people are around? Man I'd do that all the time.

Nice choice of music man, I just got into punk and luckily some of the local bands and close to my area bands are awesome. Mosh?

I do that a lot, even in class when the teach's just rambling on, i have interpreters that i just glance at than the teacher. And when annoying ppl blab at me, i just nod and point to my ears mouthing "im deaf!!"

Mr. Mojorisin, yes i do mosh and enjoy it.

The only time when I think I've come the closest to complete silence is when I stand outside in the snow - I cant hear a single thing at all, and what matters is I really enjoy that.

Im sorry your deaf man that really sucks, but at least you can hear with a hearing aid. My uncle is deaf and it caused a lot of sadness in my family, and oh yeah i know what you mean by drifting into the silence sometimes i wish i could do that. peace
