Let me start by saying that it has been a long time since I smoked. I used to smoke on a daily basis in high school and continued to smoke after I graduated. I joined the military when I was 20 and haven't smoked since. I'm now in my mid 30's, married, children... the whole nine yards. My wife has never tried weed and never will so she does not share my point of view when it comes to this subject. My long winded point is that I think about weed all the time. I would love to be able to smoke out once in awhile without the wife knowing about it. Are there any older tokers out there that are in the same position? The sad part is that I don't even know where to ind weed anymore

...but I don't think hiding things from your wife is the best way to keep a marriage together.

You may never get her to smoke with you...but it would be only fair to at least tell her you would like to introduce it back into your life. If she REALLY loves you, she'll understand. And don't make it a habit that'll cut into the necessities!

I've been married going on 28 years...and believe it's lasted that long because of a mutual trust, and the fact that we never hide things from one another.

Plus...she'd KILL me!

Use that one liner on her later Its probably going to be pretty hard to find weed in your situation. That is ofcourse, depending on certain things. Do you know of anyone or suspect anyone of smoking weed? If you dont know them that well and/or are sure they won't spill the beans that you asked them, then by all means, ask away. Try casually bringing it up with an employee in a headshop, but always make sure no one else is near or in the store. There are some other options, but they probably wont work. If you live in a city with a open drug market (Vamsterdamn) then it should be pretty easy but most cities dont operate like that

Thanks for the words of wisdom Poon.

I love the wife, love the kids, and love the herb. Gotta find a way to have my cake and eat it too.

I've thought about getting a tattoo many times and that could be a great way to make contacts.

I live in the U.S and grew up in the midwest and now live on the west coast. All of the people I used to smoke with live on the other side of the country and I have been out of the lifestyle for so many ears that it is weird talking to people about it. I don't want to bring attention to myself and I don't want to come across as a Narc so I am trying to be extra carefull.

Oh yeah, I just remembered because of that tattoo thing: A lot of piercing/tattoo studios have small headshops in them, well the ones around here do, and that could work the same way as a headshop.

No headshop will help you. Police try to set up stings on headshops, so they're too careful to give hook ups.

Try joining the local chapter of norml...I'm sure you can get some good hook ups that way.

honestly, go to your local high school and look for the stoners. they may think you are a Narc at first... in fact, they WILL think you are a narc at first.... but tell them your story, and then go from there. offer to buy an entire ounce and they will take you seriously. if they wont sell you that much at first (they might not, afraid ur a narc, wont want to go down hard) then buy a couple dimes or 1/8ths, then work your way to wherever you want to be.
