i was planning on making a trip up to windsor to do some gambling, and hopefully score some nice buds while i'm up there in the next few weeks and i was just wondering if the good buds were available pretty much everywhere in canada or is it just in BC? also where would i go about tryin to score the nugs, and how much does an oz cost in canada?

weed is pretty much great anywhere in Canada, it's just often better in BC and often a little cheaper. Ontario has tons of good bud. Expect to pay around 180 an oz, plus or minus 20 bucks. a good deal if you're from the states, as the exchange rate is nice for you.

I haven't seen an ounce cheaper than $175 Canadian .. which is quite a good price ... Atleast here in Toronto , bud can vary in terms of quality. Of course you're going to get some schwag, but mostly it is quite good. I've hit it quite nicely .. as my dealer is a conaisseur (?spelling?) and always has very smooth stuff. Gopod luck in your search for bud .. it shouldn't be that hard in windsor, considering its pretty big, and there's a university there.

Also, University = way cheaper prices, at least outside of Toronto. At my school, weed is abundant in the res, but it's also pretty nice in the city, where I live.

200 bucks can easily get you an ounce of really nice weed, provided you know who to go to. The dealers on the streets (not many, that's not too common here) and the highschool kids are useless, overpriced and crappy. You need to talk to the Professional Smoker TM, he's the guy who's been smoking for years, and grows his own. More often than not, those types will have a little extra on the side, but it's not a regular dealer type arrangement.

Larmer .. you hit it on the nose ... for sure i would stay away from the high school dealer. A few times when my usual guy is away we have had to go to a kid in school. While his bud is usually decent, it is pricey for what it is. Now, however my usual dealer does not grow himself, and he is only 19, but his relatives grow, and he has become quite the conaisseur. So it is a reliable, source, and a guranteed source. He isn't in it for profit like the high school kids are (rep and money is all the kids care about). Quite frankly for it' should be about quality, and having a good time with friends.
