Myself and my friends are either 17 or 18. Most of us wear baggy clothes. When we're up at the local shopping centre, we get a lot of stares because we look out of the place. Most young people who hang around the shops actually dress up just to be there, it's like a fashion commune, and the place is getting increasingly busy, we hate it.

We got the same treatment when we spent a night at "Surfers Paradise", a place where kids who've just finished year 12 congregate and party for a few weeks, probably like Spring Break in the US. So it's not just because we're teenagers, as most of the people there were our age. I don't know if we looked like stoners or thugs or both. We got taunted just because we weren't running around filled with piss, it really doesn't leave us with a good impression of teenage piss heads of today.

about 2 months ago in walmart, i was looking for the how high dvd, and all i could find was the tape. so i dug through some cart that was full of random dvds and somehow there was how high, but it had been opened, and as i soon discovered, many of the items in that cart had been opened, leading me to believe it was for defective items or something. so i walked around trying to find my mom, holding the dvd in my hand the whole time. i had on a hoody and some baggy jeans, but i didnt look like a hoodlum. eventually i find her and im like hey im gonna buy this, but she wasnt done shopping so i decided to go pay at the electronics counter. There was no one who could help me there except some retarde3d stockboy, and i was sick of waiting, so i just threw the dvd back in the cart.
So we check out and start to leave, and some little italian looking guy grabs my arm and asks to talk to me. he holds up the how high dvd and says he wants his movie back. im like WTF are you talking about, look in the case, and he opened it and it was still there. so then he asks me to go with him, and i tell him hell no, and he can search me right there on the sidewalk. i pulled off my hoody and emptied my pockets, and proved to him that i didnt have any stolen merchandise. he said i looked suspicious in the store because i walked around with the dvd, and said i wont be so lucky "next time". Needless to say i was extremely pissed, i mean, would an undercover cop chase some old woman out of a store if she walked around with a movie for 5 minutes? I wanted to punch that little bastard in the face. The fun aspect of it was looking down on his tiny ass when he realized i hadnt taken anything, since I am 6'3" 220, and this dude was like 5'6". Freakin descrimination is all that is.

hey integra (i used to have a 2000 gsr ) i used to do security for Target(whoopie) and they can't search you (security rules were pretty much the same between stores) if you were to just refuse for them to search you they would have to call the cops for that...and the "policy" is that they cant run after you either...but you being with your mom and no reason to run then what i said is irrelevant, so i'm just babbling...anyways...i would have just gave the finger to that guy and told him that his damn dvd was in there.

he was acting like he could have taken me in some back room and searched me! he was like "could you walk this way", and i was like no, im not going back in the store. even though i had nothing to worry about, i was still very nervous for some reason and felt the need to get the hell away from that store. I haven't been back to that particular walmart since.
