| Shabumbler, Your friend sounds like a real dick. Unfortunatley, I know some 'friends' who I know look down on me for smoking, even though it is OK for them to drink daily or whatever.. I usually have a better time with people who do smoke anyway, there's a common interest and bond I feel, and they are usually more laid-back and not hyperactive. |

| yeah its sick how many people grow up thinking alcohol is so much safer and better for you than marijuana. Its so annoying because there is nothing u can do to change their mind because half of them will never try it. |

| I know the anti-pot **** is BS, but there's no need to get angry at drinkers, for they are our friends, our brothers, and us. Newtch.

| Same thing happened to me when I was a kid. I believed that everything I was taught in school was true and that those who would tell me different were blind or trying to hurt me. But then I grew up in the just say no 80's. What changed my mind? I realized that all the legal drugs I used (alcohol, cigarettes, and wake-up pills) were killing me and I needed a safer gentler alternative. Weed can help you mentally and physically relax enough to let go of your true addictions. Still, there was a time I would have thought you were nuts if you had told me this. Remember we were taught that addicted people will say anything to justify their drug use. Including trying to suck you in to make themselves feel better. No one who believes this can even hear you. They are good kids who believe in school, church, sports, cookouts and cold beer. Users are losers. Just say no to drugs. And then one day they look and see mom with a martini and dad with a cigarette and everyone is on feel good antidepressants with terrible side effects. All the kids are on court ordered medications to keep them from fidgeting and talking too much. Just don't smoke marijuana. It's illegal, you know. Far better to believe that mj is evil than to believe you have been lied to by everyone you know and trust. Actually addicted people just might say anything to justify their behavior. I was always pleased to point out that at least my drugs WERE legal. I was a dumbass. |

| Once upon a time I felt the same way as all the uneducated sheep. When my friend first started smoking, I frowned upon it, and tried to convince him to quit. We're still friends, and I still thank him for helping me to wake up and look at the facts. I also thank him for getting me high the first time. I have yet to induct any virgin smokers, but soon my friends, soon. More Bob Marley listeners are gonna be born.
