|  American looking to spend some time in Vancouver Over summer I plan on taking a roadtrip with a couple friends up to Vancouver (from southern California) and was wondering if anyone had any udeas on what to do while Im up there? I defintely wanna take advantage of the marijuana laws, look at some art, and basically just take in the culture. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. THANKS!!!!!!! |

| one mistake that most americans make is that marijuana is legal "up here" in canada. IT'S NOT! the laws are almost exactly the same as in california except they're just not enforced as much. You have more of a chance to get away with less of a punishment if you get caught. Just to warn you...

| Definitely check out blunt bros and the new amsterdam, but I'd also check out this little shop above them. I think it's called the spirit within, and it's really laid back. You can just sit back and smoke a bowl on a couch and read, or talk to some people. I liked it way more than blunt bros and the new amsterdam. It's really great because you dont get pressured into buying food or anything.
