one of the biggest, fairest, and most reputable dealers with the best stuff when I was in high school (graduated 1981) was the mechanic for the township police department. He later retired and opened his own part-time "grease monkey" shop, and still sold the best "gourmet" stuff in town. He NEVER got caught - or at least never was "seen".

Heres how I find a reliable dealer... I make it very clear up front that if they pull anything shady I will be willing to sacrifice my personal safety to quite literally ruin their lives and than I tell them if thats worth 25 dollars than so be it... I also tell them if they shoot straight and treat the situation as a transaction and not an oppurtunity than they will be rewarded with alot of high cash return businuess.

Some dumb ass kid in highschool ripped me off when i was 17 I ended up putting a brick through his fathers 70 something Mustang and calling child services about the grow opp in the kids room so his three younger sisters were taken away..

My rather maniacal stance when dealing with people is obviously not everyones cup of tea but after getting ripped off of one two many dime bags from stupid ass FUBU wearing white kids I decided it was a nessecary evil and I must say its worked quite effectively since.

So what it comes down to.. My advice is if you want a reliable dealer get yourself a reputation for handling shit when it goes wrong. I don't mean yelling alot or threatening them the worst thing you can do is threaten and not follow through. I mean make it very clear that the 25 dollars that they may or may not be thinking of stealing is their ass if they do.

I havn't met a single person yet willing to risk the well being of their family and themselves over small Marijuana transactions yet. Sure you may turn off a few people to dealing to you but their probably turned off because they know they can't run a proper operation.

Also, never carry your bud or any paraphernalia in your backpack, shoes, pockets, or anywhere. This is from personal experience: they will pad you down, check everything: shoes, socks, backpacks, pockets, and other containers. Having a bundle of money in your backpack isn't good either, they'll question your ass alot. Anyways, dealing at school isn't the smartest idea I might say, although I'll say no further about dealing (see admins, i kept control of my post! :P). Anyways, good luck finding a source.

Some people can be intimidated by such tactics, some can not. The ones that can not would just as soon get you the fuck out of their hair than deal with you and your piddly-ass $25.

Sure, it's a trivial amount of money to get violent over, but there are those people that simply don't give a rat's ass about you, your life, your family, your friends, or anything else except the money in your pocket.

I think it's better advice to be straightforward, non-confrontational and still take a "no bullshit" stance.
A quality dealer/customer relationship is built on trust, which is earned over time. By waltzing into a deal and saying "I'll risk my safety to fuck your life up" throws the element of trust out the window, and would make someone not want to deal with you in the future.
If it were me, I wouldn't deal with you the first time, since such statements peg you as a pretty obvious loose cannon.

I think it would be more a matter of protecting their business by not doing business with someone who exhibits signs of being less than stable.
Gaining a rep as someone who will drop dime on a grower or dealer will get around. PIss off enough dealers in that way and you're going to stay dry simply because nobody would be willing to sell to you out of lack of trust.

Usually, if you treat your dealer as a friend, they will reciprocate the respect back to you. Plus, if they rip you off, they've probably ripped someone else off and it's only a matter of time before someone reports finding their body parts in seven different states.

I've always had the best results with people who aren't totally into it for the money.
They enjoy and take pride in having quality product available to a relatively small group of "friends".
That personality trait always makes for the best supplier.

It's usually pretty easy to tell when someone is not on the up and up. When they're into it solely for the money, they try to keep expanding their clientele. The more they expand, the more likely they will get busted.
Greed gets em everytime.
