Hey folks, never thought I'd be caught without a dealer damn it's tough building a good dealer foundation, back home they knew my name, my style and the amount I'd buy, it was like family,lol.
Damn, moving to Canada was great but being a newcomer trying to find a dealer is scary, I'm afraid the first person i ask is gonna be a cop and then they deport my ass.

I'll trying swinging by HOTBOX cafe, looking for a redeye victim and ask" Do you salad?"

It's torture, anyone from North York, in here?

It's always good to find pothead friends and get in good with them, cuz they got the hookups and when they got herb a lot of times you can smoke with them for free. Not saying be a mooch, but you share your bud.

And if you're looking for places to smoke at work, work at gas stations or supermarkets/food service. I worked at a grocery store and everyone used to do gb's back in the freezer, and when I worked at the gas station we used to smoke joints right out in front of the store, and when people came in we'd set the jay down in the ashtray, help them, and when we left we'd go back to toking up. Not to mention we did tray slides and drifting in the parking lot and our bosses didn't care. We'd roll joints on the safe and they saw everything on camera, they just didn't care as long as we did our work.

Of course you gotta work there for a bit to figure out who's chill and who could be a narc, but generally service jobs like gas stations and grocery stores are loaded with stoners.

I'm French, and i'm currently working in Algeria. The security for foreigners like me here is not top. I was lucky and met a dealer just after i arrived here, but now he's in jail...And with the terrorism activity in the region lots of cops work without uniform that don't make asking around a good idea...If anyone have a tip for me, it would be wonderfull...If not, i'll be patient, one more month to go and i'll be back home.

I am not in school anymore and I can honestly say that since I moved to Tulsa from Minneapolis I have had a really hard time finding someone. And the work environment is NOT a place to ask around. I have listened to some of my VERY CONSERVATIVE co-workers talk. SCARY!!!!!

The guy that I did have ALWAYS ripped me off, but I figured it was this or nothing eh....But for him it was either lock up or rehab - he took rehab and told me to lose him number...

This is not a happy place.

First off, let me just say that I am a legal, medical marijuana consumer.

The problem is that the prices at the dispensaries, while fair, are still higher than I'd like to pay.

I've read and heard of people that get great deals through their friends/connections/dealers/whatever you want to call them.

For those of you that have such a connection (and get great prices), could you share a bit on how you developed the relationship? Or met the person?

I know there isn't like some weekend meeting I can go to to run into someone, but I guess I was just hoping someone might say something that gives me an idea on how to meet my own connection.

I would defintely have to agree about the food industry or grocery store thing, I had jobs at both a resturant and a grocery store.

the restaurant I worked at for like 2 days then they never called me agin. Most likely cuz they were overstaffed and I didn't make a good enough impression. anyways one guy there offered to smoke me out afterwork. It had been a while since I smoked and he was giving his # to some other guy there while I was takeing a deep hit on the pipe to the head, he offerd to drive me home too. since I lived close by. I thought I would just ask the next day for his number and everything, and low and behold they never called me agin. I even went back there a few times trying to catch him on a cig break but never saw him agin either.

then I managed to work at the near by safeway for about a year. I met I realy cool guy there. he could aways get excellent excellent hydro. I always got great deals with him and he was always promt about it to. He actualy felt bad If he couldn't hook me up the day of. the highlight would have been getting close to a 1/4 oz for $40 of seedless chronic bud. Everyone at the store smoked and eventualy got fired or got better jobs, not for bud or smoking it. but for stupid shit. like haveing a cup of water in the back, or grazing. guess ther just trying to cut corners on benefits cuz they were just about to kick in. Anyways I contiued to hook up thru this guy but one day a few months after unemployment. I give him 40-60 for a bag. and he claims he got busted by the cops and they confiscated it and let him go. (I know i broke rule #1 or something by just giving him the money first)
but this guy always came thru for me before. He aplogized and everything said he would make it up to me. and I never heard from him agin. I even tried calling him agin cuz I'm so desperated, dude dosen't pick up his phone or anything.

I guess I should probly look for another grocery store job or mabye a taco bell or something. I know one of my dad's friends smokes, but I don't know his number. and don't wanna ask my dad for it even tho he wouldn't mind.
