This sounds like me. I live in near Santa Barbara, and I know few people, but they're all middle-men and I'm tired of going through them. My friend's boyfriend just started growing and I could try through him, but I dunno how good the quality's gonna be since he's not experienced...

ok so i was thinking of asking a homeless person were to find a dealer. because they are usually addicts to something or got mental problems right?
so just want to know weather its a good idea or bad
also what should i say?

I wouldn't.
It's true that homless are often addicted to SUMFINK it's plausible to assume they know where to get what they need.
But 1, they're probly more into the really hard drugs
or 2, too poor to afford any drugs
but mainly 3, they are likely to take it personally and try to mess up your shit.

I'm in the same boat as many others. I live in MN, the heart of the twin cities, and my middleman has seemed to disappear completely. I've used up the last of my smoke just the other day and I haven't had a decent rip in far too long. I've tried wandering around local college campuses but people seem too busy to help me out. I'll get replies saying people have hookups but gotta run, so I'd be out of luck. Any suggestions or tips?

Try adding local colleges on your myspace, then posting on their college boards about hookups. I had good results.

Look for a fellow stoner who lives in an apartment complex, I found a large apartment complex and that place is weed city. Once you know one smoker/dealer there start hanging out with him/her, you'll just keep meeting more and more until you climb up to the biggest, best dealers around. Last week i picked up 9 grams of bomb mids for $50, and know multiple dealers who pick up 3/4 ounces every 2/3 days. They smoke me up and give me crazy deals and the ones with houses let me chill wit them all day. BTW im not much older then u so u can probably do the same thing if u want.

Just make sure u always pay them on time if u owe them money, respect them, respect their privacy if they want privacy, and don't lie to them or talk shit behind their back, be really chilled and relaxed when your with them and they'll be comfortable enough to show you other dealers they're friends with. Remember that there is always someone supplying your dealer with weed who has better prices then your dealer. I worked my way up and found a comfortable place with my cool, semi-serious dealers who still know how to chill.

my dealer who i've been buying from for over 2 years moved away and it's very difficult to find a reliable dealer. I have just been buying off a few friends now but it takes WAY to long for them to get it.

any ideas on what i should do?

I usually buy from my friends. But I also have backups.
I do not live in a medicinal marijuana state, but I have a neighbor who regularly makes pot brownies for her conditions. If I needed to, I could get some from her. My mom also works in a casino, most of her customers are drug dealers. She would be able to get some too.

If it's really hard to find a reliable source, then you are best off buying the seeds from someone and growing your own plant.
