|  Haight Ashbury Ok, i'm really curious about this. For anyone who lives by the Haight or has recently visited the Haight, what's it like now-a-days? I know back 40 years ago it was the hippy epi-center (sp?) and what not, but is it still pretty cool or is it dull? Is there a lot of pot around there? How much does it cost? Etc, etc. Because I'm starting to think of where I want to move after highschool. Either to canada, or to haight ashbury and go to college at berkeley.

|  I know a few people that have visited friends over there and apparently weed is as easily obtained as in Canada for around the same prices

|  Berkley Berkley is still a nice college town, but Haight-Ashbury is sorta dumpy now, and kind of a 'hippie tourist-trap', if you know what I mean?...but those 2 places are like apples & oranges...you can't compare the 2, not even close....  |

| I would definitely recommend moving to San Francisco. This is the only place I've lived but I don't think I could live anywhere else. |
