I was wondering if they I.D in coffee shops in Amsterdam or have they started to cause i read an article in High times that they r gona start to I.D in coffee shops and become more strict on their rules. I was hoping to go there this summer but i will only be 18 and according to the article it says they will only allow 19year olds and up to buy weed and related things. I hope this is not true or else i will have to wait one more year which will be a horrible wait.

yeah they do, i wasnt actually ID'd in Amsterdam (Roermond down south) and all they want is a card for the camera........trust me my fake id sucks...lol

Seriously!!!

What i do when I'm carded is I just give em' my real liscense which says I'm 20, and I always get served (beer). I say, don't worry about the fake and just give em' your real one and they will serve you anyways. They card you to cover thier ass, don't take my word but there is a good chance your ID that says your are 18 will be suffice!

this sh!t dont happen in europe or at least in my neck of the woods..u can be 10 years old here and go buy liquor or cigarretes from the nearby kiosk or convienient store..

from my personal experience they shouldnt bother u in A'dam either..

keep a fake id handy though just in case..

Cause it would suck making the trip and then not being able to smoke in coffee shops..

u will be able to score one way or another cause theres plenty of dealers on the street as well.

but i would recommend going to government controlled coffee shops cause their weed is tested...

if you get caught in a coffee shop with pot and you are underage, the coffee shop will be shut down, so you are ruining it for everyone, and from what ive heard the police checks are becoming more frequent
