| I know a couple teachers in the past who smoked but it's not really a good idea to be open about it with their students. If a teacher smokes, and has half a brain, they'll keep it on the down-low.

| i had two teachers who always talked about marijuana, i wouldn't doubt if they were tokers. you could just tell by their personality. |

| Smoky, why feel dumb. Yours was a valid question. Sometimes I feel very separated from people I work with, my being a stoner and all. Then again, it's probably not the weed....just me. I think that your choice to become a teacher is brave and valuable. What has your headed in the directioon of pedagogy as your chosen profession? If it's because you get summers off...ya might wanna re-think.  Really, what's got you interested in teaching? peace |

I saw this article today in my local paper about a 32 yr teacher and 18yr Female roomate where charged with with shooting herion in students. | wow just found this thread again, lol well, i really like history and english and i like talking about both of them so i thought it'd be cool if i could be a teacher so i'll always have that dialogue. so not just summers off. nights, weekends, and holidays  |
