More peeps than I thought don't have middle names...& Vyx, that's ironic because my dad had 6 brothers & sisters who all had middle names too...just not my dad. & he was the oldest.

im 100% russian and apparently all russians (chicks included) should have middle names after thier dads, (im not a chick) my middle name is roman, isnt that weird?

That's odd, Zolt! It's not like there's a shortage on names or anything?! Weird.

My son got his middle name from my father and my daughter got her middle name from her paternal grandmother. Nice way to keep the lineage going, I think. Thankfully my kids like their names. I remember when I was growing up, I HATED my name. I wanted to be Marie, like Marie Osmond.

That is kinda weird, isn't it? My grandparents are from the Ukraine, so I don't know if they were used to conserving on things or what, but the remainder of his siblings had middle names. I also named me son after him for the same reason you named your kids as you did...carry on the name. But my son's middle name is Jake & that's what he goes by.

Yeah, it was 'dubya' dancing in a Desmond Tutu...but of course it's already changed by now...probably 3 more times before bed.
