Errr, not that it's really relevant to anything, but he never said all Mexican weed is schwag, he just said all Schwag is grown in Mexico, but that doesn't mean they dont grow different weed. :-/

I've even read somewhere that the "Mexican Schwag" weed that comes into america, before being pressed and stored for easier shipping, was beautiful bud! Who'dathunkit?

It's a shame its nearly ruined just because of the delivery method.

I'm more interested in the "quality vs. quantity" argument. Good arguments can be made for both sides, but I think that quality wins, hands down.

Look at it this way; we're already paying way to much for this stuff. Wouldn't it make sense that you really should get your complete money's worth out of it, ie. the best high possible? I'm not referring to regions of cultivation or anything, but the actual quality of the bud itself. There's no arguing some is better than others, so I just think it makes more sense economically and uhhh... "stonenomically" to get the best pot available.

I'd rather be blown away on Friday than stay mildly buzzed the entire weekend...

Thats funny, maybe i just dont know the right dealers, but ive never even seen brickweed before. The only stuff ive ever smoked has been at least mid's or better. I generally go for quality tho, because I figure the price difference is made up for by the fact that u use less of it, and by smoking less its healthier.

It really floors me when I read all this negative crap about compressed brickweed. Everyone thinks that every bit of brickweed is garbage or 'schwag' as you young-uns like to refer to it. Some of the best weed I've smoked has been transported in brick form from deep in Mexico. It's a way to minimize bulk when shipping across the borders. So just let me emphasize that if you see some 'brickweed', don't immediately assume it's sh!t, because it isn't necessarily so. Brickweed can be excellent weed...it's just not grown in the U.S. All the fluffed-up lbs you see is somebody's homegrown, which is probably killer.

ive had what you call shwagg before. its pretty dry and harsh and i only experienced it a few times in my early weed smoking days. for some people its all they can get (im thinking united states here) in canada good weed is cheap, i think other canadians can confirm this. When you get good weed a good price, why would you want to smoke something that takes so much more to get stoned, and like it has been established already, many people get headaches or what have you from the low potency stuff.
