Thumbs down Top 10 Dirtiest Fast Food Restaurants

I just got done watching Dateline & they had a Health Dept. issue as to the conditions in the 10 most popular fast food places. 100 restaurants from each franchise were tested, so it's not like the Health Dept. just looked at 1 restaurant per chain. Anyway, in descending order, with #10 being the cleanest & #1 the worse, they are as follows:

10. Taco Bell--the only chain to score under 100 violations with 97.
9. Mcdonald's--surprised me. Thought they'd be dirty. I was wrong.
8. KFC--I figured these guys would be pretty clean.
7. Subway--Jared mops the floor for exercise.
6. Jack in The Box
5. Dairy Queen
4. Hardee's--in the South mainly. Big variety.
3. Wendy's--this really floored me. Dave Thomas has to be doing somersaults in his grave.
2. Arby's--this really bummed me out. I liked them. Damn it, Mr. Roast Beef, clean your restaurants. I like the food, but no more rat crap on the roasts please.
1. Burger King--I guessed this 1 would be the worst, with a score of 241 violations. Terrible health hazards I heard.
But just thought the next time you want to stop & grab a quick burger & fries, try to remember these results. Could make a difference if you end up sick or not.

My favorite on that list is Taco Bell. Everyone is always talking smack about them, but their food is cheap and delicious, dammit.

My first job I ever had was at Burger King and I can testified to them being dirty as hell. I remember one time we ran out of rubber gloves, so the just told everyone to make the food without any gloves. And people were always tossing plastic happy meal toys into the deep fryers. I’ve seen someone drop cooked food on the floor and then put the same piece of food in someone’s meal, and that was a manager.

The question is: How often do you patronize Burger King now?

Yeah jebus, that surprised me too. I would've thought Subway's would've been 1 of the cleanest [they always look so clean], but a lot of their violations were the temperature of the meats they use...they weren't refrigerating them cold enough. Wasn't too much on the filth part, like Wendy's & Burger King, where they discovered rat sh!t on the counters by food preparation. No bud, A & W wasn't mentioned...I didn't even realize they were still in business. Maybe more in Canada than the U.S., I'm not sure.
