A few friends and I are planning a trip to BC this winter, sometime late January early February. We were planning on going through a ski package through Whistler/Blackcomb. I was hoping somebody that lived there could hook me up with some phone numbers or websites of cheap hotels. I wanted to see if I could put my own trip together cheaper than the packages. Also if you have any suggestions on where to go while we are there.

Dude I am trying to do the same thing. I want to take a trip to whistler. Is it hard to find good(nugz) smoke a round the ski area? I haven't had any luck. January through Feb is their peak season I think it will be pretty expensive!

Yeah, I want to go early or late but everyone I'm going with wants to go durring peak season for some dumb reason

I have this magiziene called "Outside" and they had a few trips to austria and BC for under $900 airfare lodging and lift ticket all included. Check out their website or something. Right now I think I am only going to go to Jackson Hole in January.

I'm only looking to go for 4 days. I think 900 sounds too much. I found in Ski Mag 725 for 7 days, 325 for 4 if I went before Dec 14th

I am going to Fernie but its easy for me because my parents only live 40 min away! Best food and accomidation for kms around.

Whistler/Blackcombe's too expensive...

Go to Banff, Alberta, it's way cheaper, and you've still got incredble conditions. Lake Louise is was my favourite spot, the summit was awesome, and there were awesome powder bowls on the backside of the mountain. Sunshine is pretty good as well, there were some nice glades, although most of the double blacks were closed when I went last...

The reason I wanted to go to Blackcomb/Whistler is because I've heard so much about the MJ there and I wanted to check out Blunt Brothers and the night life around there. That's what I wanted info on, is what I should see while there and where the best places are to party and have a good time.

I was reading a magazine yesterday that had an advertisment for a herb friendly bed and breakfast in the van area. I cant remember what it was called, try doing a search on the net for it.
Also, anywhere in the area of BC, BC/AB border (banff) will have good weed, so dont worry about that. Im not sure how the hill is in banff as Ive never been (Ive only been to the fernie hill, and castle mountain hill), but I can guarentee a large amount of tourists....banff is infamous for the amount of tourists it gets.

That B&B is located Here It's called Sativa Sisters Kind Sanctuary but is a bit too expensive for 3-4 poor college students. I'm not too up on the law in Canada I wasn't sure where you can freely buy MJ over the counter up there. The only thing I know is from these boards and seeing the MTV shows about it. What area can we go, not in downtown Vancouver where it is MJ friendly?
