Well, I'm going to Mexico on Wdnesday, and Im gonna be there for about a week. We're gonna be at an all inclusive resort just out of Cancun. Now drinking is fine and all, but I defenitely prefer to be nicely toasted than totally plastered. AND its gonna be tough for me to not smoke for an entire week, going from daily. So heres my question: Who should I got to to get it (obviously not a specific person but you know what I mean)? and how much should I expect to pay?

Don't do it. There are a few good reasons to not do weed in Mexico.

1) The cops are corrupt as hell, and hate Americans. Half of the 'dealers' you'll see around resorts are either narcs or cops. They'll sell you a bag, than bust you.
2) Mexican jail is not fun. Back in high school, a few kids I knew got busted in Mexico. They spent over a month down there, until their parents could get together several thousand dollars to get them released. That's how it is, usually. They try and bust Americans, than charge tons and tons of money to release them.

So drink yourself stupid and forget about weed. If you actually know someone who you can get it from, that's a different story. But you're likely to get busted if you buy weed from random Mexicans on the beach.

Now, if you absolutely must smoke, try getting away from the resort area and the beach to make a buy.

Speaking of the corrupt police in Mexico. One of my friends was down there with some other kids and when they were getting ready to cross the border back to CA. One of the kids ran to a nearby store and bought a bunch of off topic pills to sneak back over the border. Well a Federale saw him and ran over to detain him.

He said give him his watch and chain around his neck and the pills and he would let him go. Well the kid was stupid and got a smart mouth with the Federale.
The Federale smacked the kid with the butt of his gun right in the face and took his watch, chain and the pills.

Kind of pointless but just to you give an idea why not to **** with the Federales.

Well I wouldnt be buying a lot, like an 1/8th or so...would they even bother with that? I mean itd be easier to go up to, say, a younger resort employee and mention wanting pot than to go up to random people at the beach. On the other hand, not smoking for a week and then toking when I get back would get me retarted, but a week is a long time, especially when Im away from all my friends.

edit: I did a search and found an older thread, someone said to talk to cab drivers there. Being 15 I doubt I'll be taking many cabs by myself so I dunno how thats gonna work out. Does anyone who has been there recently know who I could go to? (once again not a specific person)

i can't really answer your question, but I can say this, you don't need pot to enjoy a vacation or life in general!

Instead of worrying abut how to score weed on vacation, why not worry about not forgetting your books or headphones or what ever. Pot is not necessary to enjoy beautiful surroundings.

its not that I cant not smoke on vacation
its that I want to smoke on vacation. Its winter and cold as a witches tit here in CT, in Mexico its nice and warm, and all I can think about right now is laying back in the sand with a nice J and looking at the sky...havent been able to do that since the summer

One of my roomates went down to Cancun a few weeks ago. He said everyone was either smoking weed or drinking.

I guess the people in his hotel got the weed from the hotel employees. I don't think you'll have a hard time finding some at all man, it will be all around you.
