Please let me note, I am not asking for specific information ie names, places, etc...

A good friend of mine, and my supplier, quit smoking altogether due to a new job with random testing. We met in college and have been friends ever since. I am now without a supplier.

I asked my friend for the name of his connection, however he said that it was not a direct connection, he would go to his co-worker and he would provide. He also stated that his co-worker would freak if he knew he had told someone else which left me with no link to his source.

I am in my late 30's and now have no connections. My question is what types of ways can one find a supplier. None of my other friends that I know of smoke.

If anyone out there could give me some general guidence as to what I might try, and what I need to avoid I would greatly appreciate it.

Please remember I am simply requesting general information and do not want anything that would be too specific as to get anyone in trouble.
