I'd suggest Santa-Cruz. My cousin goes to USC and she says its a very laid back place. hell, the mascot of the college is the banana slug

I've been there when i was younger and it was a very beautiful place

Irvine? UCI good school, good bud, one of the top 10 safest places to live. My homeotwn baby. Its only nice places tho, kinda expensive to live here. We dont have anhy homeless ppl cuz the cops take em of the street. The apartments r nothin like LA apartments, they r more like houses that r connected. VERY NICE PLACE TO LIVE, and not overly expensive altho it is pricey

I loved San Diego too, but if I had to choose I would pick somewhere in Marin County in the SF bay area. I lived there for ten years and had a blast. I grew for personal consumption and there was always something around no matter what your interests. I loved coming home from work, grabbing a cold one and going out to hang out with my neighbors on my street. There was always a group of people hanging out partying in the bright California sunshine on my block and the party grew as the night wore on. On the weekends we would pack our coolers and caravan to Drake's beach or go camping out in Inverness. Ahhh, the memories.

i hate l.a. trust me,i know cause i've lived around here for 8 years.it gets pretty old being in an environment of insecure liars that have to bull**** about every thing that comes out of their mouth just to make themselves feel better.it's really competitive around here,and alot of times for the wrong reasons.the standard of living is pretty expensive also.lots of hard up people in alot of spots.
the herb is pretty good down here though.

You know Berkeley is one of the UC schools right? its the 'flagship' campus of UC. it was just rated #2 in the world by the times of london. its been the #1 public university for most of this century. if you look, the city of berkeley is also very, very active in the medical marijuana initiative. in oakland the grow limit is up to 70 or 80 plants (somewhere in there, for sure) now. i know people who have been caught with anything from a gram to multiple ounces and ive never heard of any of them getting tickets for it. try typing berkeley and marijuana in on google and see what you get. and go bears.

("Cal" is also a name of the university of california at berkeley)[calum]
