Ok, I know this has been covered before, but it seems to have been awhile. I'm going to Negril, Jamaica for a week in about 6 months for my honeymoon. We are both smokers, and were wondering what to expect as far as prices and such. I have also heard a good deal of people say undercover cops are everywhere. How to I find a RELIABLE source? What should I expect to pay? I've heard peddlers are everywhere, but don't want to get scammed. I also have a question about pipes....would there be any problems bringing back Jamaican pipes (unused of course)? I don't want to run into trouble with customs or anything like that! Any and all feedback on this topic would be appreciated!

Don't try to buy pot there, it's not a good idea, you'll either get jumped or scammed, or arrested.

heh i was in montego bay about 4 months ago got me a nice little nuggage(about an 1/8) for $10.was real sticky.smoked it all in like a half hour in 2 fat joints with this taxi driver dude.heard afterwards from some dude that was on the same boat as me that he seen all kinds of people gettin busted.i bought mine in some ladies shop,her son or whatever was sellin it in the back of the store.she got all pissed that we didnt buy anything from her,just some nugs from her son or whatever.

Dude, I've already been to jamaica and been back for several months! In fact, I'm planning our RETURN trip already...a bit late....and as for your take and bake advice....are you talking about making brownies or something and attempting to bring some back that way? Are you crazy? Dogs can still smell even baked marijuana, and Customs aren't dumb enough to not figure out what is going on. Jamaica is well known for its marijuana, and I'm sure a batch of homemade brownies would attract a bit of attention. I wasn't dumb enough to attempt to bring anything back.....as for while you're there.....quality ganja is literally everywhere. you'd have to be blind not to find any~!
