hey...was just caught by my mom for smoking...problem is she is extremely against weed...shes so stupid..she thinks if some1 smokes weed while in highschool there life and future is automatically over..****ing idiot...hw do i convice her that it doesnt have ne negative effects on me..especially in school..seeing as ive been smoking weekly for over a year now and i get all A's.

Prove to her that your responsible. Make sure she knows you've been smoking while you got those good grades. I'd go and get some research that shows marijuana isn't the devil's cabbage, and that many successful people smoked.

Good luck. I thought my mom would be cool about me smoking marijuana since she knew people who smoked, and agreed with me on everything marijuana-related politics wise (medical mj, etc). Turns out she doesn't care who does it, as long as their not her son.

Well, the best thing you can do is just prove to her that you are responsible and mature enough to smoke mj and not let it interfere with other aspects of your life. It sounds like you are doing that already, especially in school if your getting all A's. If your mom truly is a weed nazi then she most likely will not change her views. Nobody really changes unless THEY want to. My advice would be to sit down and have a mature talk with her and explain how you feel, and that you appreciate her concern for you. Talks can do wonders. It's too bad your mom's not educated about weed, but she doesn't have to be I guess. Good job on keeping good grades... sounds like you're a pretty responsible smoker. The only thing that I think isn't so cool is calling your mom stupid and then some. I don't know her, but some day when you're cool with her you'll probably regret saying that... just me butting in with my opinion... good luck!

i proved to my parents i could be responsible in school, and work, and not get in trouble with the law...then i guess i could smoke. oh well, ive been _good_ and i deserve it :P

Yeah you probably shouldn't be so hard on your mom like that, she's just concerned for your well being. Nice job on the A's, you do seem like a responsible smoker, just try to convince her that good ol' Mary Jane isn't causing you any problems. Then maybe someday when you become a doctor or something you can call her up and be like "haha i told you so." ..peace
