Hey everyone, just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.....I know the holidays can be stressful with so much "family time" and whatnot, but make the best of it. Enjoy your presents and eat a lot of food, but more importantly, put the negativity in your life away for just one day and relish the day, and the people you spend it with, be it family or friends. This probably sounds cheesy, but take a moment to tell someone special how important they are to you, or sacrifice a bit of your time to help someone else, wh may not be as fortunate as you, out in some way. Maybe you have a friend with a rotten home life. the least you can do is invite them to dinner. maybe they'll say no, but at least you tried. We as people focus too much on the negativity in our lives, and rarely stop to consider those who have it a whole lot worse than we do. I'm guilty of it myself. But this IS the season of giving, so do your part and give someone a hand, or at least let them know how much you appreciate them. In such a hectic world, we often forget to express our gratitude to those that have helped us out in some way. Today is the perfect day to fix that. Sometimes the best gift can be as simple as a few words. No matter how rich or poor, we all have something to give.


Ok, my sudden overwhelming need to express a little Christmas cheer is over...just think about it while your smoking your chritmas trees today!!!! I hope Santa brought you all a big fat sack of the kindest of the kind buds!!


(hard to believe I wrote this after my "Bah Humbug" thread, but what can I say? I had a moment of inspriration I thought I should share to even out the karma!)

Nah, I was as sober as I get when I wrote that, actualy. Whats wrong with actually giving a rat's ass about people on Christmas? Screw it....Chrstmas is over and another year of the holiday being overcommercialized is over. Bah Humbug!

ive never had an overcommercialized christmas. i guess thats one of the advantages of coming from a upper-lower-middle income family...............
